Laura Martinez background finds its roots in product design and graphic design. After she graduated from a Master degree at the design school E.N.S.A.D in Paris where she is from, she found her love for tattooing when she moved to New York in 2013. She is mostly adept in geometric and linework, though she can play around with different styles. She mostly works on custom designs and takes her inspiration from travels around the world and her background as a designer, which makes her style very unique.

Zaha Hadid’s international body of work is largely defined by graceful curves inspired by nature. She brings this sensibility to 520 West 28th, marking a dramatic shift away from the hard angles that dominate standard residential architecture. The building’s elegant hand-rubbed metal façade is driven by one continuous line, which loops its way skywards. These dynamic curves create a distinctive chevron pattern that embraces interlacing levels, maximizing privacy and security between residences.

The collection of residences at 520 West 28th represents Zaha Hadid’s vision for modern living. Working within her distinctive architectural language, she applies a powerful elegance and detail to the interiors, focusing on nuances that reflect the overall experience of the building. The 39 generous loft-like residences are individually crafted, each with the artist’s signature mark woven into the design.Â

Zaha Hadid approaches the amenities areas as four dierent collections that are tied together with a clean and consistent palette of materials. These elements are then incorporated in slightly nuanced ways to create a progression in mood and atmosphere based on the level of intimacy of each space. A seamless lifestyle is assured by Related Management's holistic approach to service as both the developer and manager of this unique residential building, ensuring that residents of 520 West 28th will receive a proven suite of oerings on par with Zaha Hadid's visionary design.Â

Situated on their 90-acre plot, the house sits on a mountainside spanning a wash, where stormwater has created a small gully in the landscape. The house is 200m2 with 3 ensuite bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and an exoskeleton formed out of shipping containers.

Each container is orientated to maximise views across the landscape or to use the topography to provide privacy, depending on their individual use. A car garage roofed in solar panels provides power for the house.

Beyond Suffrage features over 200 rare artifacts, including documents, costumes, photographs, magazine covers, and audio-visual materials spanning more than a century that show how women have been politicized—and in turn changed politics—in New York and beyond. Highlights include Eleanor Roosevelt’s 1932 handwritten speech; a Shirley Chisholm presidential campaign poster signed by the candidate; and a selection of ephemera from multiple Hillary Clinton campaigns featuring one of her signature pantsuits.

The AKOYA’s highly characteristic “Seafoils” resolved an issue that was an a priori insoluble problem: how could an amphibious plane be designed without compromising its flight performances? The solution was triggered by observing racing yachts and, specifically, the Hydroptère sailboat, a project initiated by Eric Tabarly and continued by Alain Thébault. This yacht, fitted with hydrofoils, a veritable “flying” boat, managed to break speed records in the 2000s using this technology. The Face of America Magazine
In addition to its unrivalled versatility, the AKOYA has exceptionally sleek aerodynamic lines, making it the world’s best performing aircraft. Everything possible has been done—in terms of autonomy, speed, and fuel consumption—to ensure that each of your flights is an exceptional experience. NYC subway is not renowned for its fine dining options, let alone good & fresh food. We had a fantastic surprise at Yong Kang Street restaurant, nested in the Turnstyle shopping arcade (Colombus Circle). Ultra fresh sushis (better than in a lot of fancy Japanese restaurants),delicious made to order PokĂŠ bowls, Chinese dumplings and other authentic Chinese specialties made by Chef Henry Zhang. Very friendly and extremely quick service.
