JANUARY SALE 40% OFF We moved into our house in Broughton and although the kitchen was serviceable its layout did not work for us. We looked at the usual suspects and found Happy Kitchens advertising in a local magazine. We invited several kitchen companies and Happy Kitchens in to provide designs and quotations for a new kitchen so that we had a range of options to select from. The resulting designs were similar and the quotations were all in the same ball park. However, Ben was by far the most helpful as a potential supplier and this was important for us. He was more interested in ensuring we were happy with what he was proposing, he also advised us about disposing of our existing kitchen and where we could get the best deal on our new kitchen appliances. The kitchen is fabulous, the fitting team are fantastic, well skilled and dedicated to making your Happy Kitchen perfect. They have a work pedigree that includes high end luxury boat building so their work quality is exquisite. You just need to keep them fueled with coffee and they also take away all the rubbish. OVER £2000 RAISED FOR ALZHEIMER’S RESEARCH UK Edward Ditcham, who is 14 years old and from Finchdean in Rowlands Castle, began fundraising for charity in 2015 when he started raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK in memory of his Grandfather who had passed away that year. Ed decided he didn’t want any other families to go through what he went through. Ed’s mum kickstarted the whole thing and asked him to assist her in raising money for the charity through a touch tennis tournament which raised over £2000. Ed then decided he wanted to help his local community and raise money for Alzheimer’s. He completed various jobs such as dog-walking and lawn-mowing for some money, which was then split between the charity and his pocket money. He then started running small events, the first being a charity quiz which also raised

money for Alzheimer’s and was a great success. Following on from that, in the same year (2017) he ran a Mince-Pies and Carols evening at the church in Buriton. With these two events and the various jobs Ed completed, in 2016/2017 he raised a total of £2001.39 for Alzheimer’s Research UK. In 2018 Ed is raising money for St Wilfrid’s Hospice and Rowans Hospice in memory of his Grandmother. St Wilfrids’s were so kind and compassionate towards his family during the final weeks of her life so he wanted to give something back. As well as completing various jobs, Ed ran another quiz night which raised a whopping £651.20, bringing his current 2018 total to £1231.30.
