ICC is well-known for its positive, welcoming and inclusive culture. This culture is particularly evident in the Sixth Form. Our Key Stage 5 students take advantage of highquality teaching and a supportive pastoral system to become successful, well-rounded members of the community, ready to contribute both locally and nationally as young adults. At ICC we value all our students, irrespective of background or personal circumstances. We celebrate their differences rather than simply tolerating them. This helps us to build a truly inclusive environment where all Sixth Formers feel safe, comfortable and able to concentrate on securing the highest possible attainment at the end of Year 13. Our Key Stage 5 teaching team are experts in their field with a deep-rooted passion for their subject. We use a variety of different teaching styles and teaching strategies to ensure students can retain complex concepts and develop in dependent learning techniques. Students then receive bespoke support and guidance as they transition to University, an apprenticeship or career of their choice. We are extremely proud of our rich, broad and academic curriculum offer. Students study a variety of different A-Levels and vocational courses as well as taking advantage of our extensive leadership, enrichment and personal development opportunities. Thank you again for taking the time to explore ICC and we look forward to receiving you application to join us in September 2027. Dan Conlon - Principal

Learning At ICC Sixth Form, we set high expectations for students to become increasingly independent learners who take ownership of their learning, progress and future. Students are encouraged to develop effective independent study habits, reflect on their performance and take responsibility for acting on feedback and targets. We recognise that independence develops over time, and our staff provide the guidance, challenge and support students need as they become more confident in managing their own learning. We closely monitor each student's progress throughout their time in Sixth Form. Regular assessment, target setting and review enable us to identify strengths, address areas for development and provide timely, targeted support where it is needed. Our approach ensures that students are challenged to make strong and sustained progress while receiving the right support to help them achieve their potential. Student assessments and grades are tracked through Arbor, our online information system, providing a clear overview of progress and enabling us to work closely with parents and carers. Regular communication ensures that students, families and staff share a clear understanding of progress, priorities and next steps.
