The Caddie Program is a service offered to all members and guests of The Cliffs and must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled tee time. A 48-hour notice is preferred. Caddies are mandatory for all groups with more than seven guests per member, all unaccompanied guests, and discovery guests. No cash given will go towards the fee for the caddie service itself.
CADDIE FAQ What are the benefits of using a caddie? Using the services of a caddie allows you to fully enjoy the golf course and offers the player(s) a better appreciation of the design and beauty that makes each course special. Caddies offer golfers the chance to spend more time socializing, as they will handle everything around the course besides swinging the club. What does a caddie do? This exciting offering will enhance what is already a terrific day on the course to an unforgettable one. We offer a forecaddie program for players riding in golf carts, although walking caddies are available. Bag-carrying caddies will carry either one or two players’ golf bags that elect to walk the course. Caddie duties include: • Providing a general hole description with target lines • Locating golf balls and providing exact yardages • Maintaining the golf course by filling divots, raking bunkers, and fixing pitch marks • Attending the flagstick • Green reading (if asked) • Maintaining pace-of-play Caddies may be requested through your home club’s golf shop at least 24 hours prior to the tee time or by contacting our Caddie Manager at thecliffs@caddiemaster.org.
Tee time cancellations require notice by 5:00 pm the day prior to the scheduled tee time to avoid caddie fees. Weather dependent.
