Two weeks ago, we celebrated our 2025 Annual Meeting/An Evening of Connect & Cuisine. I want to thank all the sponsors and those who attended for making the event a success. We allowed our guests more time to speak with each other and “we” spent less time talking. We had a very short program recognizing our sponsors and those investors who participated in a Society Level for 2025 along with our accomplishments. .

Butler Tech: Building the Workforce of Tomorrow Through Innovation and Opportunity

For more than 50 years, Butler Tech has been transforming lives by preparing students for both college and careers through innovative career technical education. Serving high school and adult learners across Butler County, Butler Tech operates multiple campuses offering dozens of career pathways, combining rigorous academics with hands-on, real-world training that connects education directly to the workforce needs of today and tomorrow.

That mission is now being expanded in a powerful way through three major new facilities under development: the Advanced Manufacturing Workforce and Innovation Hub in collaboration with Miami University, the expanded Bioscience Center, and the new Aviation Center at the Middletown Regional Airport. These projects build upon Butler Tech’s existing high school and Adult Education campuses, creating an even stronger regional network of career-focused learning environments. Together, they represent one of the most significant investments in workforce development in the region’s history.

Our Foundation

For more than 50 years, our chamber of commerce has had a 501c3 charitable foundation to help with past objectives. The foundation was created in the early 1970’s and there are conflicting stories on why and what project was their focus. Nonetheless, the Middletown Area Chamber Foundation is now doing business as The Chamber Partnership for a Brighter Future. Our focus will be on raising dollars to fund our Future Ready Workforce initiatives.
