2026-2027 CENTER PRESENTS SEASON SPONSORED BY ALLIED SOLUTIONS

Prepare yourself for the most expansive season in the history of Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts, with 70 performances already booked and more on the way. The upcoming calendar illustrates our continued commitment to diverse, world-class programming, with living legends and rising stars from the worlds of pop, rock, jazz, classical, soul, hip-hop, folk, comedy, the American Songbook, international music, family programming and more.

The season includes two new performance series: The Studio M Tribute Series pays homage to legendary artists and bands who have shaped the history of popular music. The JPMorganChase Spotlight Series focuses on performers whose talents extend beyond music, such as comedians, illusionists, cultural figures and compelling speakers.

Over the past year, we have continued to make the Allied Solutions Center campus safer and more accessible for people of all abilities. The number of accessible parking spaces on the drive around Carter Green has doubled to eight, including five new van-accessible spaces for groups. Handrails have been installed in the stairstep aisles of the Tarkington theater, which also has a beautiful new LED stage lighting system. Our website at TheCenterPresents.org – the only authorized online source for tickets to our venues – has been enhanced with the UserWay widget to give viewers more control over the experience. More information on accessibility is on Page 50.

Among the improvements at the Payne & Mencias Palladium, touchless automatic door openers have been installed in restrooms, and a new Bluetooth-based assistive-listening system can provide high-quality audio through patrons’ own hearing aids or earbuds, without need for special devices. The venue remains certified Sensory Inclusive®, with staff training and a range of onsite accommodations to make the live event experience more comfortable for the 1 in 4 Americans who have special sensory needs.

ABOUT ALLIED SOLUTIONS CENTER

Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts is a nonprofit arts and education organization responsible for the operation and programming of a three-venue campus at Carmel’s City Center. Together, the 1,500-seat Payne & Mencias Palladium, the 500-seat Tarkington and the black box Studio Theater create a welcoming environment for the regional community to experience and participate in all forms of the performing arts.

Each year, the Center Presents performance season offers scores of concerts and other events in the fields of pop, rock, jazz, classical, international music, comedy, family programming and more. Allied Solutions Center is home to the affiliated Great American Songbook Foundation and provides space and support services for six Resident Companies: Actors Theatre of Indiana, Carmel Symphony Orchestra, Central Indiana Dance Ensemble, Civic Theatre, Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre and Indiana Wind Symphony. Center facilities also are available for rental events, including performances, corporate meetings, weddings and other social occasions.

Since the opening of the Payne & Mencias Palladium in 2011, Allied Solutions Center has been a leader in the Indiana arts community, hosting over 4,000 performances and more than 1.76 million ticketed patrons from all 92 counties in the state, all 50 U.S. states and 30-plus nations. The campus also welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each year for public events such as the Carmel Farmers Market and the holiday Christkindlmarkt.

Education and experiential programs at Allied Solutions Center include the interactive Peanut Butter & Jam concert series for preschoolers, free Student Matinees and science demonstrations for school groups, FrontRow artist Q&A sessions for music students, the Prism Project arts camp for youth with disabilities, and our Student Discount Ticket program, offering Center Presents student tickets for only $15. Programs for adults include the Luminaries speaker series, the Palladium Bookies reading club, ticket discounts for first-responders and military personnel, and classes in vocal performance, ukulele, songwriting and stand-up comedy.

Songbook Academy in Concert celebrates the enduring spirit of American popular music through the voices of the next generation. As the culminating performance of the annual Songbook Academy®, the Great American Songbook Foundation’s premier educational program, this inspiring evening brings together exceptional young vocalists from across the nation to honor our rich musical legacy. Hosted by Songbook Foundation founder and five-time Grammy Award nominee Michael Feinstein, the concert features standout solos and vibrant ensemble numbers reflecting the breadth, diversity and timeless appeal of the Great American Songbook.

World-renowned drummer and composer Stewart Copeland will share stories from his acclaimed career on his first U.S. spoken-word tour, Have I Said Too Much – The Police, Hollywood, and Other Adventures The evening will include conversation, video, rarely seen images and a Q&A session with Copeland, founder of the massively successful rock band the Police (with 75 million records sold), multiple Grammy winner, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, writer, filmmaker and composer of film scores, operas and video game soundtracks. He also has published two autobiographical books and recently led the Police Deranged for Orchestra tour, which played the Payne & Mencias Palladium in 2023.

The great ones endure, and Gladys Knight has long been one of the greatest. Very few singers over the last 60 years have matched her unassailable artistry. This seven-time Grammy Award winner has enjoyed #1 hits in Pop, Gospel, R&B and Adult Contemporary, and has triumphed in film, television and live performance. All told, Knight has recorded more than 38 albums and has continued to spread her acting wings. In 2022, she was recognized at the 45th Kennedy Center Honors for lifetime artistic achievement, and she has since received the National Medal of Arts and the 2024 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Center Celebration 2026 presented by Ice Miller is a night to ignite creativity, open doors for students, and ensure the arts are accessible to all. Hosted by Artistic Director Michael Feinstein and headlined by The Bacon Brothers, featuring Michael and Kevin Bacon, the annual event supports Allied Solutions Center’s arts and educational programming. The black-tie evening will begin with the First Merchants Bank Red Carpet Arrival and Cocktail Reception, followed by an elegant dinner and live auction in the concert hall and after-parties with live music, dancing, drinks and late-night food in two themed rooms.

Michael Blaustein is one of the fastest-rising stand-up comedians working today. His viral stand-up comedy clips have amassed over 900 million views across all social media platforms. He has sold out venues across the world, most recently closing out his successful 2025 tour year with over 70,000 tickets sold. When he’s not on the road, he’s co-hosting the chart-topping hit comedy podcast Stiff Socks with Trevor Wallace, which has over 70 million downloads. Blaustein has also worked with brands such as Manscaped, Liquid Death and BetterHelp. Now he returns to the stage for the final leg of his wildly successful Taste Me Tour, giving fans one last chance to catch this set live.

As the frontman for Foreigner, Lou Gramm became one of the top rock voices of the late 1970s and 1980s, delivering a long string of hits including “Feels Like the First Time,” “Cold as Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Double Vision,” “Dirty White Boy” and “Juke Box Hero.” He co-wrote most songs for the band, which scored two of its biggest hits with the ballads “Waiting for a Girl Like You” and “I Want to Know What Love Is,” an international chart-topper. Gramm’s solo career has included the Top 5 single “Midnight Blue.” New album Released out now.

DEMOLA LIVE!

Demola is a singer-songwriter, record producer, award-winning, self-taught multi-genre violinist and electrifying live performer known for redefining the sound and cultural perception of the violin in contemporary music. Born in Nigeria and now based in Houston, he has become a viral and social media sensation, with over 8 million followers across platforms. His music draws from many genres and cultures around the world, including pop, Afrobeats, reggae, hiphop, jazz, classical, country and rock. Now on his fourth headlining world tour, he has released several solo albums and toured with artists including Tony! Toni! Toné!, Keith Sweat, Jelly Roll, Bobby Brown and New Edition.

BECKY ROBINSON THE BEASTS IN ME TOUR

Becky Robinson is an L.A.-based comedian, writer, actor and voiceover star best known as Entitled Housewife, an outspoken golfer character she developed through a series of online videos. Entitled Housewife’s antics have racked up millions of views across social media, leading to an international touring career, a mention in Deadline’s “15 Comedians to Watch in 2025” and a selfproduced comedy special, Becky Robinson: Entitled. She voiced the lead character Parker J. Cloud on Nickelodeon’s animated series Middlemost Post and was a season regular on MTV’s Wild ’N Out with Nick Cannon, among other TV appearances.

Bruce Hornsby rose to fame with The Way It Is, his Grammy-winning 1986 debut album with The Range. The title track became the most-played song on American radio in 1987. Founded in 1958, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields is one of the world’s most-recorded orchestras and one of the U.K.’s most celebrated cultural exports. Under Music Director Joshua Bell, its player-led approach empowers every member of the orchestra, resulting in ambitious and collaborative performances that transcend the traditional conductor-led model. In its ambitious 2025-2026 season, ASMF undertook four tours across Europe and four to the U.S., including its first Carnegie Hall appearance in 20 years. Pianist-composer Conrad Tao will be the soloist in this program of Mozart, Copland and Crawford Seeger.

The U.S. Navy’s premier wind ensemble is touring the Midwest with a family-friendly concert featuring patriotic selections, marches, orchestral transcriptions and modern wind ensemble repertoire. As the original ensemble of the Navy Band, the Concert Band has been performing public concerts and participating in high-profile events for 99 years, with regional tours around the country among its core responsibilities. Roll Over Beethoven is a vivid fever log for a speaker and orchestra in which the character of Ludwig van Beethoven – portrayed by acclaimed actor John Malkovich – addresses the audience directly with a monologue based on the Heiligenstadt Testament: a despairing 1802 letter Beethoven wrote to his brothers about his existential struggle with progressing deafness. Episodes of the story are interwoven with Beethoven’s music, performed by the Vienna Academy Orchestra and its artistic director, Martin Haselböck. Founded by Haselböck in 1985, the orchestra is considered one of the most important period-instrument ensembles in the world.

One of the most successful instrumental groups to emerge from the 1970s jazz fusion era, Spyro Gyra has played over 10,000 shows, released more than 30 albums and claimed 13 Grammy nominations in its half-century history. Founder and saxophonist Jay Beckenstein still leads the band, which includes longtime members Julio Fernandez on guitar and Scott Ambush on bass. Opening the evening will be Stanley Jordan, who has blazed his own trail on jazz guitar with a signature two-handed tapping technique that opens up expansive, piano-like possibilities on the instrument. He has released 14 albums as a bandleader and collaborated with many top artists.

Jens is a recipient of the Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo & Bluegrass and a member of the American Banjo Museum Hall of Fame. Yasmin Williams grew up surrounded by music in Virginia and began developing her innovative fingerstyle acoustic guitar technique while studying music theory and composition at New York University. She is known for unique approaches, such as playing kalimba and guitar simultaneously, and she also incorporates instruments such as the kora, harp guitar and banjo. Despite her use of folk instruments, she resists being categorized within the genre, valuing creative freedom over conformity. Her third album, Acadia, is available on Nonesuch Records.

Jeremiah Cosner is an American singer-songwriter blending vintage blues, modern rock and catchy, honest lyricism. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist who began writing songs at age 12, Cosner draws inspiration from his Midwest roots and his grandfather’s love of poetry. His 2022 EP featured standout tracks “Home,” “Get There When I Can” and “Fly Fishing.” He is backed by drummer Craig Wiley and longtime bassist James Ledesma.

The Indy Annies are here to remind folks of the power a woman can wield with just her voice and a guitar. Led by vocalist Breezey Fox and guitarist Krista Hoose, the Indy Annies’ forte is stitching together the threads of old and new country music. The harmonies and storytelling allude to the old Ryman church days, paired with an electric sound and performance that works in any rodeo arena or honky-tonk dive.

New Works: An Arts Commission Project is an initiative by Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts to promote and sustain Indiana’s working artists and arts communities by supporting the creation of new works across all performing arts disciplines. Each year, three performing arts proposals and one visual arts proposal are selected by the judging panel for a public premiere performance and talkback discussion. The winning visual arts project is displayed at the Payne & Mencias Palladium for one year.

TRANSPORTATION GRANT PROGRAM

Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts’ Transportation Grant Program provides funding for public, private, parochial and homeschool educators in central Indiana to bring their students to educational programs and performances at Allied Solutions Center. The grant may be applied only toward transportation associated with Center Presents performances and programs.

School groups may apply for grants up to $400 per bus. The maximum grant per school/per event is $1000. Reimbursement will be made after the field trip has occurred and will be based on actual expenses submitted.

Homeschool organizations must have a minimum of 15 students, traveling in the same vehicle, in order to apply for transportationrelated funds. School groups must make a field trip reservation with Allied Solutions Center prior to seeking a Transportation Grant. The school is responsible for providing vehicles, drivers and chaperones.

Through drumming and other music and movement activities in an imaginary rainforest, young children learn basic principles of rhythm and groove as well as positive character qualities.

Designed for youth with disabilities ages 6-25, this month-long performing arts day camp engages participants in music, dance and theater as they rehearse and present an original show for a public audience.

PALLADIUM PALS BOOK CLUB

Kids can earn free tickets to a Center Presents performance by reading related books from our list. Even toddlers can participate with adult help.

CHILD & ADULT MUSIC CLASSES

In these morning sessions for ages 1- 5, kids and their caregivers explore concepts like rhyme, rhythm, melody and beat through fun group activities. Sponsored by Westfield Veterinary Care.

PEANUT BUTTER & JAM

Designed for ages 1-7, these monthly Saturday morning sessions encourage young children to become engaged in the performing arts. Two adults can attend free per ticket order.

Indianapolis-based Epiphany Dance Collective preserves the energetic and joyful traditions of West African dancing and drumming.

Housed within and proudly affiliated with Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts, the Great American Songbook Foundation is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the music that has defined generations.

Founded by five-time GRAMMY nominee Michael Feinstein, the Songbook Foundation will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2027. The milestone highlights two decades of meaningful impact in Carmel and beyond through nurturing young artists, engaging audiences, and championing the music that continues to shape American culture.

From the soaring melodies of Broadway to the timeless rhythms of jazz and popular song, the Songbook Foundation safeguards this rich musical tradition through educational programs for all ages and preservation efforts led by the Songbook Library & Archives, with a vision to establish a world-class museum right here in Central Indiana.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Rooted in the enduring influence of the Great American Songbook, the Songbook Foundation’s educational programs create meaningful learning experiences that engage and inspire participants across generations.

The Songbook Academy®

The Songbook Foundation’s premier educational program brings together 40 outstanding high school vocalists from across the country to Allied Solutions Center each summer for an immersive eight-day music intensive. Students train with Broadway artists, recording professionals, top university educators, and leading arts experts in a supportive, pre-professional environment. Perfect Harmony®

SEE THE SONGBOOK UP CLOSE

Located on the Gallery level of the Payne & Mencias Palladium, the Traditions Senior Communities Songbook Gallery offers an immersive museum experience where visitors can explore the artists and stories of the Songbook. Guests can view rare artifacts from the Songbook Library & Archives, the heart of the Songbook Foundation’s preservation efforts and a repository of thousands of musical arrangements, historic documents, photographs, and other unique materials.

The newest exhibit on display invites you to learn about the soundtrack of our lives and contribute to the definition of one of America's most enduring and beloved genres of music.

Parking: Accessible parking spots are available along City Center Drive and also in the Center Garage on 3rd Avenue SW and the Veterans Way Garage off Range Line Road. Valet parking for Center Presents shows at the Payne & Mencias Palladium is available at the West Lobby entrance.

Arrival: Street-level entry and elevator access are available in the Payne & Mencias Palladium’s West Lobby at the 3rd Avenue entrance.

Seating: Wheelchair-accessible seating is available in all venues. Special seating arrangements may be made in advance by calling the Fifth Third Bank Box Office at 317.843.3800.

Restrooms: Accessible restrooms with touchless automatic door openers available on the Salon and Tom Wood Luxury Box Tier levels.

Assistive Listening: Assistive-listening devices are available free of charge on a first come, first served basis in all venues and may be requested on arrival from any usher or Front of House staff. Bluetoothbased Auracast TM service and compatible devices are available at the Payne & Mencias Palladium courtesy of Professional Hearing Services.

SENSORY INCLUSIVE™ CERTIFICATION

Did you know 1 in 4 people in the United States has a sensory processing need? This includes people of all ages with autism, adults with dementia and Parkinson’s disease, military veterans with PTSD, and stroke patients, among others. In keeping with Allied Solutions Center’s commitment to accessibility and inclusion, we have partnered with the nonprofit KultureCity® organization to earn Sensory Inclusive™ certification at our flagship venue, the Payne & Mencias Palladium.

In addition to annual staff and volunteer training, this certification indicates to visitors that we now can provide on request:

• Sensory bags, which include noise-canceling headphones, strobe-reducing sunglasses, fidget tools, message cards for nonverbal communication, and other helpful items. The bags are available at the West Salon coat check.

• Weighted lap pads, also available at the West Salon coat check

• A designated quiet space with a mobile sensory station, located off the East Lobby

On your next visit to the Payne & Mencias Palladium, ask any staff member or volunteer about accommodations for people with sensory needs.

MAKING THE ARTS AFFORDABLE

• Student/youth tickets for select Center Presents performances are only $15 while seats last.

• First responders, military personnel and veterans, and their immediate families receive discounts up to 20 percent for select Center Presents performances.

• Groups of 10 or more receive up to 20 percent off tickets.

• Free Student Matinees and Transportation Grants are available for school groups.
