As we come to the end of 2019, our 50th Anniversary, we want to share a look back at our Grant Winners who do wonderful things for our community.

January Winner: Interfaith Hospitality Network of Ocean County: The Interfaith Hospitality Network of Ocean County is a non-profit, interfaith ministry committed to providing shelter, meals and assistance to homeless families. Our well-trained volunteers reach out with our compassion and acceptance, providing help, hope and a safe haven for our guests while they seek permanent employment and affordable housing. February Winner: Meals on Wheels of Ocean County We are driven by a passionate belief that senior citizens deserve to lead happy, healthy and above

March Winner: Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey: Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey (CVCJ) is an interfaith nonprofit agency dedicated to providing free supportive services to the frail elderly and homebound, enabling them to live independently and with dignity in their own homes. Our volunteers are dedicated to reducing social isolation which comes with aging. CVCJ has been providing these services in Ocean County and now Monmouth County for 25 years. April Winner: Ocean Partnership for Children Ocean Partnership for Children (OPC) provides care management services for Ocean County to youth ages 4-21 years old with complex mental health, substance use, intellectual, and developmental needs and their families. OPC strives to keep children and adolescents at home, in school, and in the community by connecting them to community resources that meet their unique needs. Ocean Partnership for Children’s care management is funded through Medicaid and available to all youth and families that live in Ocean County and meet the eligibility criteria of the New Jersey Children’s System of Care. May Winner: CONTACT of Ocean and Monmouth Counties CONTACT of Ocean & Monmouth Counties, a non-profit, charitable organization, provides trained telephone listeners who respond to human needs 24 hours every day. This volunteer based organization offers free confidential crisis intervention, information on available resources, and referral to community services. June Winner: Ocean’s Harbor House

Ocean’s Harbor House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency that provides more than just shelter. July Winner: Your Grandmother’s Cupboard Your Grandmother’s Cupboard is a non-profit organization established by people who recognize the needs of the homeless and working poor in our communities. The Cupboard was established to provide some of these basic needs through local donations. Many people living in poverty often do not have access to transportation to visit thrift shops and pantries.
