Social Care Vote Will Have A “Pivotal” Influence on General Election... With Power to Swing Constituencies

As political parties brace themselves for tomorrow's general election, research has revealed that a strong ‘social care vote’ is set to have a pivotal influence on the 2024 General Election – with the scope to influence change in up to 185 marginal constituencies. Research by two of the country's leading social care charities Community Integrated Care and the Carers Trust highlight the significant influence those involved in social care will have on the outcome of this election, with many in

the sector believing that they have been largely ignored by mainstream political parties. In its report ‘Who Cares Wins—Unfair To Care 2024,’ Community Integrated Care has revealed significant public support for the social care sector and a large electoral block of people who work in and draw on social care.
