Public Satisfaction With the NHS and Social Care at “All Time Low”… With Just 13% of Public “Satisfied”
New findings from the British Social Attitudes survey, released by the Nuffield Trust and The King’s Fund, reveal that public satisfaction with social care has plummeted to just 13%, the lowest since records began. The survey, carried out by the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) in September and October 2024, is seen as a gold-standard measure of public attitudes in Britain.
Key Findings from the Survey: • Only 13% of respondents said they were satisfied with social care services – the lowest figure on record. • 57% reported being either ‘quite dissatisfied’ or ‘very dissatisfied’ with social care.
