ollowing the robbery of three rooms in Misamis Occidental National High School (MONHS) Annex building on the night of June 10, 2025, two minors were identified as suspects for stealing laptops, food, supplies, and an estimated 500 pesos, causing teachers to request for improved surveillance on school grounds.
According to alias Teacher Rose, the suspects stated that the Annex building is the “easiest target for robbery,” as they were able to bypass the guard and remove the window blades to enter the classrooms. “As an occupant of the Annex building, I suggest the school hire more security guards, and if building a gate around the Annex building isn’t possible, the school can at least add grills to classrooms, because the windows are easy for burglars to open,” Teacher Rose shared.
