While the rest of the world warmed uncontrollably, creating waves of climate refugees and large swathes of the Indian Gangetic plain into arid desertified landscape, a few countries capitalised on the shifting weather patterns. Siberia emerged as one of the largest winners, using its massive land bank of Tundra to become the new breadbasket of the Globe. Wartime infrastructure was repurposed to serve the booming agricultural business, and massive war funds were diverted into this more profitable environment.
Here’s some visions for 2035, looking at the intersections of high technology, war infrastructure and AI, deployed to serve the world’s population under dubious circumstances.
