INDUSTRY PARTNER UPDATES
Travel Friction and Travel Risk Management are quite rightly high on the agenda of Travel Managers and Travel Buyers We are working with associations to reduce these. We talked about Travel Friction last month but what is Travel Risk Management? We work with the British Standards Institution (you’ve all seen the famous British Kite mark) to create a new standard in Travel Risk Management with the intention of it being aligned to ISO31030.
Travel Service Providers have a duty of care towards their travellers. This standard will set the benchmark and certification for all organisations that work within the travel industry. It concerns the safety and security of all travellers whilst in the care of travel service providers. Putting travellers’ safety and care first is the right thing to do. The new standard will cover risk reduction, client and traveller wellbeing and safety. It will include organisations from those who book travel, to those who provide travel, to accommodation providers and even venues. People deserve reassurance of this standard being met. Something we can all agree on. To find out more you can speak to Paul Upton from our Sales Team.
