ACCO R A L L SA F E | A New St a n d a rd Fo r Re a s s u ra n ce The business travel community is understandably looking for reassurance from hotel and event space providers that not only prioritises the health and wellbeing of guests but also presents an objective measure of hygiene and cleanliness to reinforce this pledge. To address any concerns and to provide standards that can be benchmarked, Accor has launched a unique global cleanliness and prevention label: ALLSAFE With the launch of ALLSAFE, Accor has established some of the most stringent cleaning standards and operational procedures in the hospitality world, going beyond many national government’s minimal viable requirements, to ensure guest and staff safety as hotels reopen. For the business travel agent community this innovation provides clear benefits: • Firstly, it will reassure business travel customers that it is safe to stay in a hotel in the Accor network, which will help drive bookings • Secondly, understanding the different standards being developed by each hotel group will help agents act as a differentiator, offering added value, to customers Business travel agents will note that across the hotel industry, companies are introducing enhanced policies but as yet there is no single overarching minimum standard. Accor was determined to introduce market leading standards so partnered with Bureau Veritas, a world leader in testing, inspection and certification, to develop and review the new procedures. To provide a vital layer of reassurance to the business travel community that these are not simply tick box standards, but incredibly rigorous measures, with each hotel participating in the scheme audited independently.
