Trianon Complex written by Essensual McMahon Once upon a time, don't all fairy tales begin like that. I was asked for a story about where the TRIANON came from so I will do my best. I was out one day shopping with friends of mine and we were over on the Lunaria Emporium looking at stuff that this great designer made and one of my friends said come over here they have a nice building for free. Not sure if it was a limited time offer, or was just not priced but I picked it up and in my inventory it sat for a few months never even opened it up, had no clue it took up 1/2 a region. The name the Trianon came from a very old building, built in the 20's in the ArtDeco period, in my home town of Regina, it was a wonderful place for events, dancing in the 40's and 50's, a place where Army Navy Airforce could come together during the war years and even after to meet single women, I came from such a coupling. I had been on a different grid, and had problems with the owner, so I decided to move to a new place that has a lot of active people, and this is how I came to AMV. I sent my OARs to Clifford, and soon after I was in business.. Controlling my own beacon with OSW and my own advertising I held my success or failure in my own hands, it was slow at first just like any new event would be but my guests to my events started growing, at that time I had the Ballroom on the land and the Fetish Factor in the air on a platform. It was in early December that I noticed we were outgrowing the fetish Factor because more and more people came to my Sunday 5pm event, so I started on a new build with the idea.. when its quiet I don't need a big club, but when its busy I do. So came up with the "Expanding Dance Floor", as one of my guests called it "a show of Lights and Mirrors" and the walls move exposing more dance floor with the ability to hold 25 people very comfortable. Then the Third Club I wanted to build TGIF a 24/7 all disco 70'and 80's dance venue with LIVE Djs on friday night 3 to 5 pm ( I don't own a watch so I end when people leave). The Grand opening for TGIF was Jan 28th, and this was written before it, so no idea what to expect, but I'm hoping that people want to relive the best time of their lives as I said in my ads for the opening "Let's get our groove on and hustle and bump our way back to our youth" and maybe you weren't born then and just want to see what your parents were up to and maybe where you came from. 4

So you have been to a love song set and a classic rock set, but how does this woman think she can pull off a Disco set? I spend every Friday and Saturday night at the disco in town as well I ran a mobile DJ Service specializing in Disco Music, and I would fill in from time to time as a DJ at the Paddock for my friend, I do play a North American style of Disco and DJing. Also attached to or very close to each of the Dance venues are clothing stores with Clothes that would match the venues, Elegance is for formal events, The Latex Source for something for a bit of a kink and I'm working on a store for the Disco. At present it has women's wear only but trust me guys I will be putting stuff for you out as soon as I find it and can improve it or fix alpha alpha problems. This is the Trianon Complex in a nutshell, One Woman's dream to bring music and advanced lighting clothing to the open sim world.

A Sad decision "Gray Delwood" had to make RESIGNING from his Captain's Duties on the Alternate Metaverse Grid. Why NO Captain?? What REALLY happened? (Why does Aurora II no longer have a Captain?) Gossip swirls every day on virtual platforms. This reporter has heard a bit about the Aurora II's Captain and why he left that assignment. I will do my best to report what I believe happened after hearing from several reliable sources. I feel the grid should be informed and just maybe stop the wondering and the gossip. I will not be able to tell you some details for a bit of the decisions and discussions apparently happened in a private/confidential specially called AMV security meeting. What I can tell you is the captain, Gray Delwood, disagreed with AMV management in this meeting to the point they felt he was a "grid security threat". Apparently the grid owners demanded that he do something he felt he had total rights and privileges to do. It seems it escalated to the point that he was "fired" in this meeting in front of the staff. I tried to dig deeper directly with Gray Delwood but he refused to answer many questions, again due to the confidentiality of this meeting. I asked if he was fired from all responsibilities on AMV, "No, I don't believe so, just from being on staff. I considered, if I was not trusted… Ideas, thoughts and decision I would make on behalf of Koryphon Academy and the Aurora II would also be in question. I gave those duties up also so there would be no question to my loyalty to AMV." I then asked what his future looked like on AMV. He reported that his immediate plans were to be more quiet, keep a low profile and heal. I asked him about Reflections (an open grid meeting he has with all residents to share VL experiences and the reasons we stay and maybe 'need' a virtual life.) He quickly stated that he would keep "his baby", one that he stated he thoroughly loves and appreciates because of the sincere contact with participants. So hopefully this is enough facts that will suppress the gossip and we can all get back to a healthy and happy AMV life.
