The Traditional Winter Season is just around the corner. Here is an (Upcoming Winter Event) soon to take place on the Alternate Metaverse Grid.
Winterfest 2021 This years Winterfest will be opening up its grounds on the 18th December 2021 and Snow is on the Forecast this year, so it means its time to Wrap up warm and get them Winter Hats, Gloves and Scarfs out once again and enjoy time over at the Winterfest on the Wintervale Region. This year there was a SnowGlobe contest happening at the beginning of December Month where people had to create from their own imagination into a single globe of a winter theme and on the Opening day at the Winterfest the Winners will be announced. So, do make some time to Explore the Wintervale Region at alternatemetaverse.com:8002:Wintervale there is something for everyone's interests. There will be several live performers & DJs for Entertainment to enjoy plus for Fun activities such as - Skating, sledding, snowball fights & Winter fun in an amazingly magical winter region!

I had been exploring around the grid map looking for fun and attractive Winter Regions to list some in this Newsletter, there are so many to search for inworld, but i have chosen this time Two Regions to talk about for you to Check out and Discover for yourselves.
Christmas Town I was looking around at the Christmas Town Region and it looks like a place to check out for your Winter or Christmas Shopping needs or just take your Camera and Explore the Region at its natural Beauty with all this Snow around. Take a look at the Pictures on the next page and i do Recommend this place of interest to you to Discover alone or with Friends. SNOW DREAM at WINTER VALLEY Created by Black Night
Snow Dream offers the visitor a beautiful winter, Christmas, snow-covered village. At the landing site there is a sledge with which you can drive through the village and explore. Or you treat yourself to a long walk through the woods, where you can watch polar bears and penguins and much more... look closely, you can copy a lot! Furthermore, the visitor can take a chairlift up to the toboggan run, where you can then use a sledge or ski to descend into the valley ... we also thought of relaxation :-) in a sauna, where you can also relax with a massage can pamper you. shopping for winter clothing is also possible! the large ice surface leads through a tunnel to the sauna .. ice skates are of course also available. liebe grüsse Blacki

Aurora II Opening on the Seven Seas to the public on the Alternate Metaverse Grid by Captain Gray Delwood December 5th, 2021 was a very special day here at AMV. Not only was it the grid's SECOND Birthday, it was the opening of a new Region and the all-grid project "SevenSeas". 40+ folks gathered together, not only to celebrate the birthday but also the opening of the Cruise Ship and Luxury Liner, Aurora II (which resides within SevenSeas). The day's celebration started with the owners, Clifford Hanger and Cataplexia Numbers greeting the party goers and giving recognition to the creators, builders and those that decorated the Aurora II. Trophies were handed out to each in appreciation. After those comments, the Captain, Gray Delwood also recognized the build crew and presented them with the Captain's Service Award plaques. He made it quite clear that this ship would NOT have happened if it were not for their dedication and long hours to bringing it about. He then showed a six minute video highlighting the ship's various special features and areas. This video showed many snapshots in a very broad overview before the official and formal tours took place. The rest of the evening was followed up with dancing to great music by: At the Party Room the Live Performers that took part in the Live Entertainment was 12noon - Alex Zatsepin - 1pm - Clan Escotia & The Clan - His Traveling Band 2pm - Khiron Ametza - 3pm - Ian Kitsilano 4pm - Cataplexia Numbers - 5pm - Paul Nowles The Captain and crew heard many positive comments throughout the evening as people toured the special and awesome areas. KORYPHON ACADEMY At its first inception, Alternate Metaverse was to bring a focus to education, the arts, healthy living and in general "beautiful things" in virtual life. Koryphon Academy was no after thought. It was there in the beginning. While Gray Delwood has become the new Dean, this mission of educational growth for it residents has not wavered. It is more alive than ever. In fact, Dean Gray has focused on the 2022 year as a personal challenge to bring better instructors here to the grid. All along we have been blessed with very knowledgeable instructors. Lorin Tone for example is a professional Real Life sound expert. Few know of his talents because he does not brag. But he is totally committed in bringing the beauty of 'sound' to all virtual life regions. He preaches the need for appropriate sounds throughout VL to combat the boring silence that is prevalent on many regions. Una Riona is our newest teacher and brings her wonderful talents and skills in terra-forming to the classroom. She loves sharing her tips and tricks to all AMV residents. Blender classes, GIMP training, BOM, taking better pictures with Firestorm camera, meditation are just a few offerings. Rique Giano is a master builder and will enhance our building classes and take the building focus to a NEW LEVEL! He will present Advance Tips and Tricks in building. Builders will NOT want to miss this! So be prepared! Join the "AMV Education Collective" group to stay informed about Koryphon Academy. Be ready for a new year of educational adventures.
