Ban on foreign homebuyers coming into effect January 1
The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation has announced regulations for the ban on foreign homebuyers, which comes into effect on Jan. 1. Starting in the new year, foreign commercial enterprises and people will be prohibited from purchasing residential properties in Canada for two years. Continued on page 14

No snap election, says Premier Eby BC Premier David Eby held his first press conference with the South Asian press corp in Surrey earlier this week with Surrey-Delta area MLAs and cabinet ministers in tow.
