UK and India agree trade deal after three years of talks The UK and India have agreed a trade deal that will make it easier for UK firms to export whisky, cars and other products to India, and cut taxes on India's clothing and footwear exports.

A 30-year-old man is accused of drugging and confining a young teenage girl while sexually assaulting her over a period of days in Ajax. Durham Regional Police say Special Victims Unit officers launched an investigation on Wednesday after receiving information from Hamilton Police that a 14-year-old girl had allegedly been sexually assaulted and forcibly confined in Ajax. It’s alleged that a man picked up the teen in Hamilton and drove her to Ajax where “she was confined and sexually assaulted over a period of days.” A suspect was subsequently identified and arrested “without incident” on Friday.
