Self-Love
PTEMBER 2025, EDITION #1
YOUR BEING
YOUR M L-BEING

November’s Intention:
Treat yourself like someone you love

Welcome back, to the November issue!
In a world that profits from our self-doubt, choosing self-love is a radical act of rebellion and possibly the most important one we'll ever cultivate. We cannot pour from an empty cup, and we cannot offer authentic love to others, if we haven't first learned to offer it to ourselves
This month, we explore what might be the most revolutionary act in our achievement-obsessed culture: loving yourself exactly as you are, right now, without needing to earn it through accomplishment or perfection Not the conditional love that says "I'll accept myself when I lose weight, get promoted, or fix all my flaws," but the unconditional love that whispers, "You are worthy simply because you exist" - and yes you are!
The words of Brené Brown carry a profound truth: "Treat yourself like someone you love" Most of us would never speak to a friend the way we speak to ourselves in our minds sometimes We offer others compassion, understanding, and grace while reserving our harshest criticism, most impossible standards, and cruelest judgments for ourselves.
Self-love begins with awareness: noticing the tone, content, and frequency of your self-talk, than consciously choosing to reframe criticism into compassion and to celebrate small victories with the same enthusiasm you'd show for a loved one ' s achievements.

"Ultimately,self-loveisnotvanitybutsanity".
Your heart space is not just a physical organ it's your energetic center for self-love, compassion, and worthiness When we struggle with self-love, this energy center often feels closed, protected, or defended against the very tenderness we most need. In Indian Philosophy this energetic center is called Anahata Chakra It is the bridge between the physical body and the spiritual realm The connection between the material world, physical needs, and earthly attachments and higher consciousness, intuition, and purpose
The heart center integrate physical sensations with emotions and spirituality, balancing the material and spiritual aspects of life
The Inner Dialogue Transformation
One of the most powerful self-love practices is consciously transforming your inner dialogue Here's a guide for common self-critical thoughts:
When you think: "I'm not good enough"
Reframe to: “I am enough, and I'm also growing. Both can be true."
When you think: "I always mess everything up "
Reframe to: "I'm human and I make mistakes. This is one moment, not my entire story "
When you think: "I should be further along by now "
Reframe to: "I'm exactly where I need to be.
When you think: "Everyone else has it figured out"
Reframe to: "Everyone struggles. I just see their highlight reels.
When you think: "I don't deserve good things"
Reframe to: "I exist therefor I deserve love, joy, and beautiful experiences "
When you think: "I'm too much/not enough"
Reframe to: "I am exactly the right amount The right people will appreciate all of who I am. "
Forgive yourself for the mask you wore when you didn’t feel safe enough to be yourself
SelfLoveRevolution
SELF-LOVE IS NOT NARCISSISM. IT'S NOT SELFISH. IT'S NOT SELFINDULGENCE OR EGO INFLATION. TRUE SELF-LOVE IS THE OPPOSITE OF ALL THESE THINGS.
Self-loveis:
Recognizing your inherent worth without needing to prove it
Speaking to yourself the way you'd speak to someone you cherish
Honoring your needs and boundaries without guilt
Celebrating your wins and being gentle with your struggles
Choosing rest when you ' re tired and nourishment when you ' re depleted
Forgiving yourself for being imperfectly human
Self-lovecreates:
Healthier relationships (you can't pour from an empty cup)
Better boundaries (you protect what you value)
More authentic connections (you don't need others to complete you)
Greater resilience (you have your own back)
Deeper peace (you're no longer at war with yourself)
More acceptance (and forgiveness, for ourself and others)
WHEN YOU TRULY LOVE YOURSELF, YOU STOP ABANDONING YOURSELF YOU STOP BETRAYING YOUR NEEDS FOR OTHERS' APPROVAL YOU STOP DIMINISHING YOUR LIGHT TO MAKE OTHERS COMFORTABLE YOU BECOME THE SAFE, STEADY, LOVING PRESENCE YOU'VE BEEN SEEKING OUTSIDE YOURSELF
AND HERE'S THE BEAUTIFUL PARADOX: WHEN YOU FILL YOUR OWN CUP, YOU HAVE INFINITELY MORE TO OFFER THE WORLD YOUR SELF-LOVE DOESN'T DIMINISH YOUR CAPACITY TO LOVE OTHERS IT EXPANDS IT EXPONENTIALLY
You
are enough just as you are!
Herbal Wisdom: Rose Hip
LuTong,aTangDynastypoet,whowrote:"Idrinkteatoforgettheworld."
He was known for his love of tea and his connection to Taoist and Zen philosophies, which emphasize inner peace and detachment from worldly concerns. This quote is a poetic reflection on the idea of using tea as a way to escape the noise and stresses of life, as a form of self love.
Ancient herbalists understood that true beauty radiates from within, and rose hips help create that inner foundation of wellness. While rose petals capture our attention with their beauty and fragrance, it's the humble rose hip the fruit that forms after the petals fall that holds some of nature's most powerful nourishing medicine
For centuries, rose hips have been used to support skin health, immune function, and vitality. These small, red-orange fruits that appear in autumn are packed with vitamin C and antioxidants

Bow to the queen of essential oils - Rose!
Rose essential oil is proven to have one of the highest frequencies among essential oils, measured at 320 MHz This frequency is significantly higher than the average human body frequency, which ranges from 62 to 68 MHz (55Mhz when we are sick)*. Rose oil is unique among all essential oils for aromatherapy. It has been used for centuries for its mesmerizing aroma and therapeutic effect. Rose rules supreme when it comes to aroma, skincare, and emotional support and is one of the most sought-after oils in the world due to its luxurious aroma, gentle nature, and unwavering ties to love and romance
The 17th century famous English physician and herbalist Nikolas Culpeper wrote that rose oil helps strengthen the heart – physically and emotionally. He recommended it against headaches and overall fatigue and mentioned its cooling, soothing and astringent effects
Being one of the most expensive and rare oils, Rose essential oil, is extracted from rose petals through steam distillation. Approximately 10,000 blossoms are needed to produce one 5mL bottle of Rose essential oil –the delicate petals harvested in much the same way today as hundreds of years ago by hand, one loving blossom at a time Many companies claim they are pure, however if you find a cheap rose oil on the market and the price seems too good to be true, it probably is Be aware of synthetic rose oils
*(from research conducted in 1992 by Bruce Tainio, of Tainio Technology, which used specialized equipment to measure electrical frequencies in biological substances)
