Castello di Pomaro, located in the heart of Piedmont in Northern Italy, just 45 minutes by car from Milan, Turin, and Genoa.
This 3'500 sqm (37'700 sqft) castle was built in the 12th century in a picturesque natural setting and it is surrounded by a 100'000 sqm (1'077'000 sqft/24.72 acres) park planted with century-old trees and landscaped with numerous outbuildings. It is a spectacle of rare harmony between the majestic greenery of the park and such a prestigious construction steeped in history. Sales price of 6,500,000 Euros ($7.5M) The subject of various battles between the 14th and 15th centuries, it was destroyed by the Spanish in 1640 during the siege of Casale, rebuilt and completed in the early 18th century, becoming the elegant building we know today, the country residence of the Marquises Dalla Valle di Pomaro.

Subsequently, the estate was owned until the 1980s by Count Pier Francesco Calvi di Bergolo, husband of actress Marisa Allasio, son of Jolanda of Savoy, and grandson of Vittorio Emanuele III and Queen Elena. A fascinating succession of personalities, all members of the prestigious nobility, who loved to meet at the Castle of Pomoro.
