Astrological Forecasts for 2026 Raman Suprajarama
Mundane Astrology provides a framework for observing the cycles of tension and stability in world affairs. This is not a method of fortune-telling but a diagnostic tool, grounded in the classical principles laid down by sages in foundational texts such as Bṛhat Saṁhitā, Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra, and Phaladīpikā. The analysis of world events rests upon the transits (gocara) and relative dispositions of the primary Grahas.
Key Transit in 2026 Mars: The senāpati highlights several key windows. ● January 15: Mars enters Capricorn. This transit places it in its exaltation (ucca), signalling a period where highly organised and strategic military actions are most potent. ● May 10: Mars enters Aries. Its movement into its own rāśi infuses its nature with raw, assertive force. ● June 19: Mars enters Taurus. This transit shifts the focus of conflict towards territory, finance, and fixed resources. Saturn: The indicator for structure and long-term policy undergoes a critical phase. ● August 02 – December 06: Saturn is retrograde (vakra). Occurring in Aquarius as previously discussed, this motion signifies a protracted period of re-evaluation, potential breakdown of established alliances, and heightened risk for conflicts waged via technological or aerial means. Jupiter: The Graha for expansion and resources shows significant movement. ● January 01 – March 09: Jupiter begins the period in a retrograde (vakra) state, compelling a review of established economic, legal, and advisory frameworks. ● May 25: Jupiter enters Cancer. This is the most significant event, as Jupiter moves into its exaltation (ucca). This year, Jupiter moves in aticāra, shifting swiftly from the end of Mithuna into exaltation in Karkaṭa by early June. Such accelerated motion produces abrupt shifts in economic and strategic priorities, often redirecting global focus from currency and information debates towards food, water, and maritime security. This period strongly amplifies the focus on maritime security, food supplies, shipping corridors, and all national resources governed by jala-tattva (the water element). ● October 21: Jupiter subsequently enters Leo, shifting the expansive focus from resource security towards matters of central authority, governance, and leadership.
In January–February and again in mid-April, four Grahas assemble in ubhaya-rāśis. Such dual-sign groupings often produce policy hesitation, reversals in tone, and fluctuating diplomatic positions. Governments may appear assertive one day and conciliatory the next, leading to unstable negotiation cycles. When assessing periods of significant military tension, the foremost indicator is Mars. As the senāpati, or commander-in-chief, its position dictates the readiness for, and initiation of, conflict. The transit of Mars through its own Rāśis (Signs)— Aries and Scorpio—infuses its aggressive nature with strength and determination. Its transit through Capricorn, its sign of exaltation (ucca), signifies highly organised, strategic, and potent military action. Even its movement through Taurus, a fixed, earthy sign, points towards conflicts centred on territory and resources. These specific transits, therefore, must be watched as windows for heightened military aggression. Structural stability, alliances, and long-term policies are the domain of Saturn. When Saturn transits Aquarius, its Mūlatrikoṇa sign, its influence is powerful. Aquarius, being an airy sign, governs networks, new technologies, and airspace. Should Saturn turn retrograde (vakra) in this position, it indicates a significant re-evaluation or breakdown of established structures. This configuration points directly to severe strains in international alliances and signals the potential for conflicts waged through unconventional means, including technological, aerial, or information warfare. From 26–28 February, six planets gather in vāyutattva rāśis. This airy concentration heightens movement in airspace, digital systems, and financial markets, and may trigger sudden aviation-related incidents or cyber disruptions. December 2025
