We invite you to visit the school where a warm welcome awaits, along with a tour of the facilities that will provide an authentic view of school life and the sense of whether this is the right place for your daughter. We hold regular open events, or are happy to arrange individual tours to suit your busy lives.
2. Register Once you have visited The Abbey, we encourage you to complete our registration form. There is a non-refundable fee of £120 VAT inclusive (£300 VAT inclusive for international students), and once received, we can start the formal assessment process for your daughter.
3. Interview and assessment We place great importance on getting to know your daughter, and we will invite them to meet a member of our academic staff for an informal chat. It is here she will have the opportunity to talk about her Sixth Form options and future ambitions. Your daughter will also be assessed: a general academic paper (45 minutes) and two 30 minute subjects exams or interviews in subj b ects they hope to study for A Level. bj
4. Joining the school If offered, your daughter’s place will be secured upon payment of a refundable £1,000 deposit and signing of our parent contract.

The Abbey offers a range of scholarships at Year 12: an Academic Scholarship and four different Specialist Scholarships.
Academic Scholarship Academic scholarships in Year 12 attract a remission of 10% discount per year on fees.
Specialist Scholarships Available in Art, Drama, Music and Sport. Specialist Scholarships include an annual award of £600 (or free lessons in one instrument for Music), intended to support the scholarship activity, and access to a special programme of opportunities.
Bursaries Bursaries are financial discounts that support students from families unable to pay full fees who would benefit significantly from an education at The Abbey. Bursaries are means-tested. Parents’ assets and income are considered and awards may be made ranging from 10% to 100% of fees.
