The Spirit of Elijha... Part 3
The Chariot of Fire
And Elisha said, I pray you, let a double portion of your spirit be upon me. 10 He said, You have asked a hard thing. However, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you, but if not, it shall not be so. 11 As they still went on and talked, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire parted the two of them, and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. honor). (John 7:38-39) Ampl The Feast that the apostle John referred to was the feast of Pentecost. He also clarifies what Yashua’s words: “From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water” meant, pointing to the day of the feast of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was to be poured out, in a partial fulfillment of the words of the prophets. Not only did it refer to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit then, but also referred to yet another time, in the future, when God would pour out His Spirit once more, in preparation of the time before Jesus Christ is revealed. This would be a glorious time, when the power and the signs which the prophets, Moses and Elijah did, would be revealed on the earth again, as is written: 6 These [two witnesses] have power to shut up the sky, so that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying (their prediction of events relating to Christ's kingdom and its speedy triumph); and they also have power to turn the waters into blood and to smite and scourge the earth with all manner of plagues as often as they choose. The day the fountain will be opened... About 2 months before, in the month of January 2002, during worship, at a house meeting, I received a clear date from the Holy Spirit: 27th of April 2002. Also see the newsletter: The Spirit of Elijah – Part 1 – I will Pour out My Spirit We knew that this would be a very important date, on which something very sinificant would happen, but we did not know what it meant. We expected the out pouring of the Holy Spirit in Pretoria, South Africa, as was prophesied by the prophet Zechariah, saying: “In that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem [to cleanse them from] sin and uncleanness. 2 And in that day, says the Lord of hosts, I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no more be remembered; and also I will remove from the land the [false] prophets and the unclean spirit. (Zech 13:1-2) Ampl The prophet Zechariah prophesied about a fountain that will be opened on a certain day when the idols of man would be broken and all false prophecies would be quieted. What is this fountain that would be opened for Israel?
Again, just before the revealing of Yashua in heaven, God in His great mercy will reveal Himself mightily among His people. But this can not happen until God granted them the power and ability to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth.

relation) to seal up vision and prophecy and prophet, and to anoint a Holy of Holies. (Dan 9:24) Ampl According to the angel Gabriël’s revelation to the prophet Daniël, a time is coming when all those prophesies, which had been hidden for generations will be unsealed and revealed. This prophecy had at least three layers of fulfillment. Two of those layers had been fulfilled. First, the 70 weeks prophecied by the prophet Jeremiah, which was determined for the Jewish people, was about to be fulfilled when Daniel discovered it. The second layer was fulfilled by Yashua’ minstry and His death. The last layer is yet to be fulfilled. Daniel was told that this prophecy would only be unsealed at the time of the end, to the Glory of God.
Ampl that this great promise would be fulfilled. We prayed and interceded while among a crowd of about 3000 people. We waited in great expectation to see what the Lord would do. The time drew near in which we expected that God would immediately pour out His Spirit in might and power. As we looked up over the stage, were all the dignatries were sitting, we suddenly very clearly saw a large sign of a chariot and a horse coming out of the South, coming towards the place where the gathering of 3000 people were. As we both looked up into the heavens, we saw a magnificent sign appear in the heavens. We saw Elijah sitting in a chariot. His head was bold and long hair was hanging from the sides of his head. He had a long beard. Mounted on the front of the chariot was something like a semi-automatic weapon with a telescopic lense to aim at its target. While we both looked we saw how Elijah’s eyes pierced, looking through the telescopic lense of the semiautomatic weapon, which was mounted upon the chariot, aiming at its target. From this we understood that God called us to focus intensely upon that which He had called us to do, praying and interceding with great focus for the outpouring and baptism of the Holy Spirit upon His people. Guided by the Holy Spirit we lifted up our voices and started praying out loud, lifting up our hands towards heaven. We called aloud to God, praying in tongues, calling upon the name of Yashua.
40 Days of fasting... After a 40 day fast, on the 27th of April 2002, led by the Holy Spirit, clothed in sackcloth, we went to the Union Buildings, which is the Presidential house of goverment in South Africa. This was the very day of the commeration of the inaguration of old President Nelson Mandela. We did not plan this before hand, but God in His great power forenew the day on which we would complete the fast. See Fasting Journal 2002. We have fasted for direction from the Lord and for the outpouring of His Spirit in Pretoria, South Africa. It was one week after we came form the fast. We waited on God’s guidance so that He would show us what His plan and desire for South Africa and for us was. As we prayed God told us to pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and reminded us that only, as the word to the prophet Zechariah: “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit” Says YHWH of hosts (Zech 4:6)

Then the power of the Annointing of the Spirit came upon us. Suddenly our spiritual eyes were opened and great spiritual ability came upon both of us. We received great revelation and insight into the ability of the Spirit, but that which we had expected did not happen. We were very dissapointed and felt like we have failed.

That evening, before we went to this meeting, while we were praying in the Spirit, building ourselves up in the Spirit, through the praying in tongues, the word of the Lord Jesus Christ came to me through the interpretation of the tongue, saying: “Tonight I will show you the way! I will confirm My Word by my prophets. Come and stand in My Presence! Ask Me for the mantle of Elijah and I will give it to you! Then again the word of the Lord came to me, saying: "Do not say I am only a youth. For I make you today a fortified wall and a bronze pillar. me a vision of Walk in the authority I have given you!"

these things as a mere man? Or does not the law say the same also? 9For it is written in the law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.” Is it oxen God is concerned about? 10Or does He say it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written, that he who plows should plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should be partaker of his hope. 11If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things? 12If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ. 13Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple, and those who serve at the altar partake of the offerings of the altar? showed me different visions, which I only partially understood later, that same evening. In a vision I saw a large ocean liner with a ribbon hanging in front of it, as if to be released into the sea. Then the Lord gave me a pair of scissors so that I could cut the ribbon and release this new ship into the sea. Yashua came to show me the way to release this huge ocean liner into the sea. This ocean liner was the ministry, which God had called us to fulfil to Glorify Him, before the end comes. See Prophecy: Signs in the Heavens Part 1 - The Twin Towers & The Harvester The teaching given by Rodney Howard Brown that night, gave me the answer, which God confirmed in a vision, during the worship, before the service commenced. He taught on two important subjects. First he pointed out how financial breakthrough would come for those who would sow into a ministry, on which God has placed His Anointing, thus sowing into the Anointing and the work of the Holy Spirit, which God wanted to accomplish. The second principle in his sermon, which he taught on, was the Mantle of Elijah or the Anointing.
The Lord confirmed His calling and mantle, which He has given me, to be a messenger or sent one, so that He might have a spiritual harvest form those people to whom He will send us, and that we in turn, might also have a material harvest from those to whom we preach, as is written: “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings good tidings of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns! [Acts 10:36; Rom. 10:15; Eph. 6:14-16.] 8 Hark, your watchmen lift up their voices; together they sing for joy; for they shall see eye to eye the return of the Lord to Zion. (Isa 52:7-8) Ampl Paul explained that the minister of the word is entitled to live from the income of the financial harvest of those to whom he preaches.
During his one week crusade in Pretoria the Lord taught me many things while I was under His awesome Anointing. I didn’t get the breakthrough I longed for until the last day of the week, but the Holy Spirit taught me many things while I was in the Spirit during that week. During that week the Lord gave me the passage of scripture: “And His appearance underwent a change in their presence; and His face shone clear and bright like the sun, and His clothing became as white as light. 3 And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, who kept talking with Him.” (Mat 17:2-3) Ampl I did not know why God repeatedly led me to this passage of scripture during that week until the last day.

I visited the crusade 3 times that week. The third and last night, while we were driving towards the crusade, suddenly, the Lord reminded me of the vision He had shown me 3.5 years ago, of a Chariot of Fire that came around the Voortrekker Monument. The place where the crusade was held was situated next to the Voortrekker Monument, on the south western side of the city of Pretoria.
