The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens’ Australian Adventures habitat received a Significant Achievement recognition in the Exhibit Award category during the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ (AZA) Honors and Awards Ceremony yesterday. The recognition, announced virtually at the AZA’s National Conference, acknowledges the habitat’s unique design, focus on animal care and wellbeing, and interactive guest experience.
