Rio25 History Chapter EIC is 83 years old in 2026, and we are now excited to be publishing the EIC History Book through the year, starting with the Rio chapter, which celebrates the 25th anniversary of EIC first investing into Brazil, growing from a small start to now employing more than 50 staff in the country and committing to EIC’s Rio office as being one of two global research hubs that houses much of the market intelligence work we do, the other being in Kuala Lumpur. Further chapters are soon to be published for Houston’s 30th anniversary and EICDataStream’s 25th anniversary.
EIC’s Platinum Global Partnership With Lloyd’s Register
The US offshore wind pipeline has shrunk from 45 to 23 projects, with capacity dropping to 25.4GW, according to EIC’s latest insight report. Developers face expiring OBBBA tax credits, tighter domestic content rules, a federal leasing freeze and new tariffs on EU and UK goods, all increasing project costs. Several states have paused tenders, and port funding cuts are slowing infrastructure upgrades. While projects like Empire and Revolution are restarting, many remain on hold, with investment shifting abroad. California is a rare bright spot, progressing port plans and the CADEMO floating project. EIC encourages readers to explore the full report for deeper insight.
Looking Ahead to 2026 We are excited to launch a series of new member products, services, features and benefits in 2026. Global members can now connect their software with EICDataStream with a new EIC API (Application Programming Interface). EIC is soon to launch its AI Search tool inside EICDataStream too. Our market intelligence team has expanded to provide data centre content on all our platforms during the year, and we are excited to be rapidly expanding our contacts database too, covering the world’s top 1,000 operators, EPCs and large OEMs.
Webinar Sponsorship
EIC is committed to continuing to produce 30% of its events in the webinar format, to always put members first, as we know not everyone can attend all the events in person. Good news - now EIC members can also sponsor EIC webinars.
Tell Your Story
Podcast Sponsorship EIC now offers its members a unique chance to record a podcast about their success stories, hosted by EIC CEO Stuart Broadley, at 50% discount pricing to nonmembers. Even better news, podcasts are free for members, if booked with a fullpage advert price in a print EIC magazine.
Your Brand, Worldwide Event Sponsorship EIC organises 160 events each year around the world, and these provide a high quality option for sponsorship for our members. Sponsorship can be about promotion, working with us for podcast or event solutions, to secure your speaking spot at EIC events, or use sponsorship to become a strategic partner to EIC. Contact laura.carvalho@the-eic.com for more details.
