THE STORK

Best known is the myth of the stork as the delivery of the babies.

The legend originates from an old Nordic tradition. In many parts of Denmark, it is a tradition to put a stork figure in the entrance of the home when there is arrived a newborn. The stork comes with two colored cloths which can easily be put into the stork’s beak to indicate the gender of the baby.
