Community Update
March is already shaping up to be a great month, and February was amazing. We enjoyed a beautiful Valentineās Day dinner with a wonderful turnout, and the band was fantastic. It was a special evening for everyone who attended. Thank you again to Carol and Anne for all your help in making that night such a success.
We also have our Community Rummage Sale coming up. If you need to get rid of items or unwanted belongings, this is the perfect time to do it. I am also working with the City of Mesa to get roll-offs brought into the community for cleanup. Currently, that project is about a year out on their schedule.
We have so much more entertainment coming up, and St. Patrickās Day is expected to be another great turnout. I hope to see everyone come out and celebrateāit is going to be
a fun-filled day. So far, the new year has been great, and we have seen unfamiliar faces throughout the community. I would like to extend a warm welcome to everyone newā this truly is a wonderful and welcoming place to live.
Now for an important reminder regarding speedingāit must stop. This is a 55+ community, and the speed limit is 10 miles per hour for a reason. Please remind your guests of the community rules and regulations when they visit. While delivery drivers can be difficult to control, guests are your responsibility. If speeding continues, I will have no choice but to install additional speed bumps throughout the community. I have also been in contact with the City of Mesa, and we are back on schedule.
Lastly, you may have noticed that I have not been here in the mornings. I am currently helping at another community during that time. For now, my hours here are 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM, but please do not hesitate to call me if you need anything. I am always available, no matter where I am.
Thank you all for your cooperation, support, and for being such a great community.

I would like to congratulate Betty on being awarded Yard of the Month. It took time and dedication, but with the help of her son, she has made her yard look beautiful. Her home is neat, well cared for, and the added little lights make it especially lovely in the evening.
Betty absolutely loves Sunspire and has been a resident for many years. She takes considerable pride in keeping her home and yard looking attractive, and it truly shows.
Congratulations again, Betty, on a well-deserved Yard of the Month!

Recipe of the Month
Creamy Steak Pasta Garlic
Tender steak and pasta tossed in creamy garlic parmesan sauce for pure comfort.
Prep duration: 15 min / Cook duration: 25 min / Overall duration: 40 min Ingredients
⢠Pasta (12 ounces fettuccine or penne pasta)
⢠Protein (1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced)
⢠Seasonings (Salt, to taste, black pepper, to taste, 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional)
⢠Sauce and Aromatics (1 tablespoon olive oil)
Directions
01 - Boil pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions. Drain well and reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water.
02 - Season steak slices generously with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sear the steak pieces until browned and cooked to desired doneness, about 2ā3 minutes per side. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
⢠Quick enough for busy nights yet special enough for guests
⢠Flexible on cuts of steak and pasta shapes to fit your pantry
⢠Restaurant flavor without the high price tag
02
⢠High in protein and calcium which makes it both satisfying and gently energizing
⢠Pasta water is the secret to a glossy sauce that clings just right
⢠Freezes well but is best enjoyed fresh for the creamiest texture
⢠2 tablespoons unsalted butter
⢠4 cloves garlic, minced
⢠1/2 cup beef broth
⢠1 cup heavy cream
⢠1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
⢠Garnish (Fresh parsley, chopped)
⢠Additional grated parmesan cheese, optional
04 - Deglaze the skillet by pouring in beef broth, scraping any browned bits from the bottom. Simmer for 2 minutes.
05 - Add heavy cream and grated parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir regularly and simmer for 3ā4 minutes until the sauce thickens. Stir in crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
06 - Add cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. If needed, incorporate reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency. Return cooked steak to skillet and gently combine.
07 - Serve immediately, topped with chopped fresh parsley and extra grated parmesan if desired
03
⢠Slicing steak against the grain after cooking helps keep every bite tender
⢠Letting sauce simmer gently ensures the cream does not break
⢠Grate your own parmesan straight over the pan for a nutty intense flavor
Rules: The rules for Sudoku are simple. A 9Ć9 square must be filled in with numbers from 1-9 with no repeated numbers in each line, horizontally or vertically.
