MANAGER’S MESSAGE

Happy April 2026!! We would like to start this newsletter wishing ALL our Moms and Grandma’s here at Sundial a very Happy Mother’s Day! We are so grateful for you and hope your day is a happy one. We will be celebrating your special day on Friday, May 8th with a Mother’s Day Tea & Sandwich Celebration at the Sundial Center at 1:00. If you have family visiting, please make sure to bring them along. This day is for you. We hope you can make it.

Now that the warmer weather is on it’s way, Hot Dogs at the BBQ, Yards of the Month, Pickle Ball Meets and Gardening is back! Please keep an eye out for friendly reminder flyers at the mailboxes and mailbox rooms for information on dates and times.

We would like to thank Martha Chambliss for organizing and helping Sundial residents to sign up with Center 50+ during their April Spring Service Month. Center 50+ provided volunteers to help some of our residents with weed clean up, mowing, trimming, and weed removal. We are most grateful for everyone’s efforts to help residents in our community.

One of our residents, Skip Saville, would like to start a Water Aerobics class in the swimming pool on Tuesdays and Thursdays after Exercise with Kay. The time would be from 11:00-12:00. If you are interested in participating, please call Skip at 503-9917923.

Are you interested in playing Pickle Ball? We have residents who would like to get together and learn how to play. If you are interested, we are setting aside the 1st & 3rd Monday of the month at 10:30am to meet over at the Pickle Ball court outside of the Pool Building. It is a fun game to learn. We have Pickle Ball equipment in the Pool Room if you are interested in playing outside these times.

Trivia is back by popular demand! Laura Lee Potrikus and Herb McRobert will begin hosting Trivia Night. Trivia Night will be the last Friday of each month starting at 5:00pm. I hear it is a lot of fun and hope you can join in.

We also hope you were able to take advantage of the Dumpster Days on April 28th, 29th, and 30th of April. Sundial provides dumpsters once a year to save you time and money when throwing away items you would normally need to take to the dump. If you still have items you need to take to the dump after the dumpsters are gone, please stop by the office and we will be happy to provide you with the information.

It’s turning into garden time here at Sundial. We hope everyone has a wonderful time gardening and a successful garden this year. And don’t forget we have a Sunflower Growing Competition starting next month! Who will win this year?

We hope everyone has a wonderful May. Ricky and Ronda Aldridge Sundial Management
