Dear Residents,

As we welcome the month of March, we would like to thank each of you for continuing to make Summerloch Green such a warm, friendly, and vibrant community. Your pride in your homes and the kindness you show your neighbors truly make a difference. We are grateful to be part of a community where residents look out for one another and take an active role in making this a wonderful place to call home.

��GRAND OPENING – DOGWOOD PAVILION & POOL

We are excited to officially announce that the Grand Opening of the Dogwood Pavilion and Pool will take place on March 4th starting at 11:00 AM!

Join us as we celebrate with burgers, hot dogs, cake, and refreshments, along with music by the lake for all residents to enjoy. This will be a wonderful opportunity to gather as a community and experience our beautiful new pool, pavilion, and grilling area together. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

�� POOL INFORMATION

The Dogwood pool will be open from dawn to dusk for resident use and will be heated, just like the pool at the Mango Clubhouse, allowing for comfortable enjoyment throughout the year.

�� BOCCE COURTS OPEN

Don’t forget that our bocce courts are open and ready for play. The Bocce Club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and all residents are welcome to join. It’s a fun and easy way to stay active and connect with neighbors.

February was truly a month filled with love! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Valentine’s Day celebration. It was a pleasure sharing snacks, sweet treats, and a beautiful chocolate fountain with our community. Events like these remind us how special Summerloch Green truly is.

�� WELCOME NEW NEIGHBORS

We continue to welcome new residents to our community. If you see a new neighbor, please take a moment to say hello and help them feel at home.

��COMMUNITY PRIDE & FRIENDLY REMINDERS

Thank you for continuing to maintain your homes and landscaping. Keeping lawns mowed and edged, hedges trimmed, and outdoor items neatly stored helps preserve the beauty of Summerloch Green for everyone.

Corn Chowder with Bacon

INSTRUCTIONS

INGREDIENTS

• 1/2 pound bacon strips, chopped

• 1/4 cup chopped onion

• 1-1/2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes (about 5 medium), peeled and cubed

• 1 can (14-3/4 ounces) cream-style corn

• 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk

• 1/4 teaspoon salt

• 1/4 teaspoon pepper

1. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp, stirring occasionally. Remove with a slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Discard drippings, reserving 1-1/2 teaspoons in pan. Add onion to drippings; cook and stir over medium-high heat until tender.

2. Meanwhile, place potatoes in a large saucepan; add water to cover. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium; cook, uncovered, 10-15 minutes or until tender. Drain, reserving 1 cup potato water.

3. Add corn, milk, salt, pepper, potatoes and reserved potato water to saucepan; heat through. Stir in bacon and onion.
