Dear Residents and Friends,

Welcome to March! As we begin to shake off the winter chill, there’s a fresh energy in the air here at Pegel Point. Longer days, brighter sunshine, and the promise of spring remind us that new beginnings are right around the corner. March is a wonderful time to look ahead, whether you're starting a new chapter, enjoying a peaceful walk through our beautiful community, or watching the sunlight dance along the water. This season invites us to pause, reflect, and appreciate the beauty around us.

With spring just around the corner, it's a wonderful opportunity to freshen things up, including tidying patios, preparing flower beds, and starting to plan those outdoor gatherings we’ve all been looking forward to. Warmer days are ahead!

A few friendly reminders as we step into this new month. Please continue to help keep our grounds clean and welcoming. if you're planning any exterior improvements or updates, be sure to check with management for approval guidelines.

Most of all, thank you for being such an important part of Pegel Point. It’s the people here who make this community feel like home.

Here’s to a March filled with sunshine, fresh starts, and a little extra joy by the water.

Fun Facts! Fun Facts!

On the 2 of March, what a wonderful day, we celebrate Suess in a whimsical way, with red-striped hats, books piled high, and stories that soar to the farthest sky. From Sneetches and Zaxes to green eggs and ham, to Horton who hears every Who in Whoville jam! His rhymes made us giggle, his lessons were clear- Be kind, be you, spread joy far and near. So whether you’re reading or just wearing a grin, let a little Seussian silliness in! Because life’s more fun when you laugh just a bit, as the Cat in the Hat would surely admit! Happy birthday, Dr. Suess! Let your imagination play in March and beyond, in your own special way! nd

Spring forward on March 8 ! Don’t forget that we’re stealing an hour of sleep and giving it back in sunshine! Set your clocks ahead one hour before bed on Saturday night. th

March 14 is Pi Day, a celebration of the mathematical constant (3.14). While mathematicians honor the never-ending number, we prefer to celebrate the edible kind! Whether you enjoy apple, cherry, chocolate, or pizza “pie”, March 14 is the perfect excuse to treat yourself.

March 17 is St Patrick's Day. May your troubles be less, your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness come through your door.

th

th March 20 marks the first day of spring. This means longer days, warmer nights, bright skies, and beautiful blooms everywhere. Here’s to a fresh new season!

In some cultures, the month of March is associated with the element of water, representing purity, renewal, and vitality.
