Dear Residents, As the days get a little cozier and we welcome the sights and sounds of fall, we’re excited to enjoy another wonderful month together here in our community. October is a great time to connect with neighbors, enjoy the cooler weather, and make some fun memories right here at home. We encourage everyone to take a little time this month to enjoy our community, say hello to a neighbor, and participate in any upcoming resident activities. Your friendly faces and community spirit are what make this such a special place to call home!
🎃 October Fun Facts October was once the eighth month! Its name comes from the Latin word octo, meaning “eight,” because it was the eighth month in the ancient Roman calendar. October’s birthstones are opal and tourmaline. October’s birth flowers are the marigold and cosmos. Halloween is celebrated on October 31st and has roots in ancient Celtic traditions, particularly the festival of Samhain. Pumpkins are technically fruits! Botanically speaking, pumpkins develop from a flower and contain seeds, which makes them fruits rather than vegetables. We are pleased to announce that our Online Community Resident Portal is here! Through it, you will be able to see your monthly statements, as well as enjoy the convenience of making online payments. Stop by the office if you are interested in taking part in the Community Resident Portal!

Reminders Contact us to have your birthday or anniversary featured in the newsletter! The pool is heated, so come out and take a dip! Or how about a picnic in the patio area? These are amenities we want you to enjoy while living at Palm Grove Village. Shower before entering the pool and dry off before entering the clubhouse. No oils, lotions, or greases are to be used in the pool area, regardless of whether you enter the pool or not. Lot and home inspection information: Please pressure wash and weed around your home. You're also expected to pick up trash around your unit and keep your lot as clean as possible.

Chuck Valenti Regional Operations Manager With over 17 years of experience in the manufactured home industry, Chuck is excited to be a part of the Rickert family. He has lived in Florida for over 50 years and enjoys keeping communities running smoothly and solving problems.

From Community Manager Tips on Getting Your Home Ready to Sell. 1. Deep Clean Clean Everything Interior:: Scrub floors, walls, windows, cabinets, and fixtures. Replace any stained carpet or Interior linoleum. Exterior: Power wash the siding, clean windows/screens, and check for any mildew or buildup. Exterior: Skirting: Make sure it’s intact and not sagging. Skirting: ️
2. Handle Repairs & Upgrades Fix any leaky faucets, squeaky doors, or damaged flooring. Repair or replace broken steps steps or railings. Upgrade dated hardware (handles, knobs, light fixtures) for a fresh look. Upgrade Make sure HVAC, water heater, and appliances are in good working order. 3. Boost Curb Appeal Add plants, flowers, or mulch around the entrance. Paint the front door or shutters with park-approved colors if they’re faded. Clear out any clutter or debris from the yard.
