Can you believe it’s already April 2026? This year is flying by! What a start it has been—with chilly days and unpredictable temperatures here in Fort Myers. I don’t know about you, but I’m more than ready for sunshine, warm breezes, and relaxing days by our beautiful pools. Bring on the sunscreen and quality time with our wonderful Osprey Bay community!
Easter is just around the corner, and my team and I would like to wish each of you a very Happy Easter. We’ll be keeping an eye out for the Easter Bunny—hopefully bringing plenty of delicious peanut butter treats!
I also want to take a moment to thank you all for being the heart of Osprey Bay. Your pride in our community is what makes it such a special and welcoming place to call home. We truly appreciate each and every one of you.
As we head into this beautiful season, here are a few friendly reminders to help keep our community running smoothly:
COMMUNITY REMINDERS:
• TRASH COLLECTION
• Days: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
• Time: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• Please place securely tied trash next to your mailbox the morning of pickup, not the night before.
• If you recycle, kindly use a clear plastic container labeled “RECYCLE” so Maintenance does not discard the container.
• POOL AREA COURTESY
• If you move pool furniture, please return it to its original location when finished.
• Due to changing weather, please lower umbrellas before leaving the pool area.
• COMMUNITY REFRESHMENTS
• Beverages in the refrigerator are provided for your enjoyment—please limit to one per person.
• Kindly do not take drinks for personal use outside the community (home or beach).
• The ice machine is intended for on-site use only and not for filling coolers.
• SAFETY REMINDER
• New speed limit signs are being installed. The community speed limit is 15 MPH.
• Please drive carefully and be mindful of residents walking throughout the community.
• COMMUNITY UPDATES
• Parking concrete traffic pillars are currently being painted bright yellow for better visibility.
• The Wellness Center now features a new coffee machine, similar to the one in the Clubhouse—enjoy!
As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Wishing you a fantastic April filled with sunshine and joy!
Warmest regards,
Buffey Davis | RESORT MANAGER
HOP INTO APRIL
I have always considered April as a month of renewal and transition. This is a time literally and figuratively that we toss out the things we don’t need anymore. A lot of you leave here to your life “back north.” With this in mind, we will help you with your Spring Clean before you leave. I will have phone numbers on the bulletin board of cleaning services. We will also help with trash pickup and the grand finale will be a resident garage sale!!
Our events this month include Easter Sunrise Service, Snowbird Goodbye Party, Resident Garage Sale, Men and Ladies Happy Hour, Birthday Bash for April, Earth Day Observance, and more!! I love each and every one of you!

Maple Bacon Deviled Eggs
INSTRUCTIONS
INGREDIENTS
• 6 large eggs
• 1/2 tsp. baking soda
• 5 slices bacon
• 3 Tbsp. maple syrup
• 1/4 cup mayonnaise
• 1 tsp. white wine vinegar
• 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
• Kosher salt
• Freshly ground black pepper
• Paprika, for serving
• Chopped chives, for serving
STEP 1: Place eggs in a large saucepan and cover with cold water and the baking soda. Set pan over medium-high heat and bring water to a boil. Turn off heat, cover pan with a lid and let sit for 11 minutes. Drain, rinse eggs under cold water, and peel.
STEP 2: Meanwhile, arrange bacon in a medium skillet and cook over medium until crisp on the first side, about 6 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low and brush bacon with maple syrup. Flip and brush other side, then continue cooking until crisp on second side. Transfer to a plate and let cool completely.
STEP 3: Halve eggs lengthwise and scoop yolks into a medium bowl, then mash yolks with the back of a fork. Stir mayonnaise, vinegar, and mustard into yolks until smooth. Crumble three slices of cooked bacon and stir into the egg mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
STEP 4: Using a small cookie scoop, scoop mixture into each egg. Crumble the remaining 2 slices of bacon over the eggs. Dust with paprika and sprinkle with chives before serving.
