MANAGER’S CORNER

As we welcome the start of March, I want to thank everyone for continuing to make our community a clean, safe, and enjoyable place to live. Your cooperation and neighborly spirit truly make a difference.

A few quick reminders to help keep our shared spaces looking at their best:

Please Pick Up After Your Pets

We love our furry companions, but it’s important that all pet owners clean up after their animals. This keeps our walkways clean and ensures everyone can enjoy the outdoor areas comfortably.

No Dumping of Large Items

Large furniture, appliances, and tires cannot be disposed of in or around the community dumpsters. These items create safety hazards and lead to costly removal fees.

If you need help finding proper disposal options, feel free to contact the office—we’re happy to point you in the right direction.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and for helping keep our community beautiful. Wishing everyone a wonderful month ahead.

Be sure to check the Monthly Calendar. March is a funfilled month.

Warm regards, Kayrene Galatian

Ladies’ Luncheon 2026

It’s such a joy to see this room filled with so many inspiring women gathered. Today feels like a celebration of connection, community, and the strength we find in one another.

It’s my honor to introduce our guest speaker, a woman whose work and spirit embody exactly what this luncheon is all about.

She brings insight, humor, and heart to every room she enters, and I know we’re all going to leave today feeling a little more inspired because of her.

Please join me in giving a warm welcome to Marjean Hooser.

MESSAGE

FROM THE SECRETARY SAM DAYTON OF THE RECREATION BOARD (AKA ACTIVITIES BOARD)

SEASON END MESSAGE FROM THE SECRETARY OF THE RECREATION BOARD (aka ACTIVITIES BOARD)

At the end of the month, we will wrap up another amazing season here at Indian Skies. Much appreciation is due to all of our dedicated volunteers and staff who make this the fun, happening place we enjoy returning to. To all of you who have contributed by participating in and buying tickets for our fundraising activities, thank you too! In the words of Albert Einstein, “Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.” Every little bit helps, and together we will be able to once again contribute quite a bit to our four chosen grateful Coolidge charities at the end of this month.

Please join us for the fun activities we have scheduled this month, as posted in the March Calendar, and be sure to look at the calendar of daily activities as well. There’s still so much to do! We look forward to seeing you at our Friday and Sunday Socials and at our last Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, March 11th.

It has been so great to see your happy faces and enjoy your wonderful company, and we look forward to seeing you back next season. Enjoy your summer, and thank you, Indian Skies Residents, for another fantastic season!

MARCH on ~ Respectfully submitted by Sam Dayton

FREE Neuropathy Lunch And Learn

"Let me tell you my story: I suffered with neuropathy for over 8 years, tried a lot of different things, been on different medications and it kept getting worse. When we got down here from Michigan this past fall, my neighbor who has suffered with neuropathy for years walked across the street to welcome us back. The amazing thing was, she walked over without her walker. I had never seen her without her walker. I asked her what she had done, and she walked back to her house and came back with a card for the doctor she had seen after we left last year. I gave his office a call to make an appointment, it was on a Thursday, his office was closed, but the doctor answered the phone. He explained he would like me to attend one of his free workshops before coming in, it would answer all questions and if I still wanted to come in, I could make an appointment then. His workshop was informative, he explained things unlike any doctor I had seen up to that time, how neuropathy started, what is done for most people, why he does what he does. I was mostly impressed that he was straight forward, told the pros and cons. I’ll bet 85 to 90 percent of the other patients I talked to in his office were getting good results, like I did. My pain decreased by at least 50% in the first 3 weeks. I would highly recommend anyone with peripheral neuropathy, go to this workshop, I know you will be glad you did."
