As we welcome September and the beginning of fall, I want to take a moment to thank all of you for being part of our community. It’s hard to believe how quickly the summer has gone by! As we begin to transition into the fall season, we hope you take some time to relax, connect with your neighbors, and enjoy the beautiful changes that come with fall. As always, our goal is to make our community a place you are proud to call home. Thank you for your continued cooperation, kindness, and care for our community. Please remember to keep an eye out for community updates, take care of our shared spaces, and let the management office know if you notice anything that needs attention. Community Reminders Parking & Common Areas: We kindly ask that you park only in designated spaces. To avoid any towing fees, please refrain from leaving your vehicle in visitor parking, vacant lots, or model homes. Your cooperation helps us keep our community in great shape. Thank you for being so supportive. ALL Vehicles MUST be registered, insured, AND in working order! If vehicles DO NOT meet Hillanlake criteria, PLEASE remove them, or we will have them towed! Office Hours & Payments: The community office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please note that the Dropbox is no longer available. Residents may register to pay lot rent online at any time. If you need assistance setting up the online portal, we are happy to help, so just stop by the office. Pets: To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, we kindly ask that pets remain leashed at all times, as required by our community guidelines and state law. We appreciate your cooperation in cleaning up after your pets—it's a great way to keep our community beautiful! Additionally, please refrain from using dog runners, as pets need your attention to stay safe and happy. Thank you for being a responsible and caring pet owner!
Community Reminders Trash: We're excited to let you know that our storage compound will be open for you to access from Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.! To keep our community beautiful, please avoid dumping trash against our new fencing. Remember, we offer convenient curbside trash pick-up! Just place your garbage at the end of your driveway by 8 a.m. on Mondays. If a holiday falls on a Monday, we'll be there for you the following morning. To help us serve you better, please bag all garbage and use a garbage can—no contractor bags, please! Each household can place up to 7 bags, each with a capacity of 13 to 30 gallons. While grocery bags are welcome, please ensure they’re placed inside properly sized garbage bags before pick-up. Just a friendly reminder to regularly clean your trash cans, as our team hand-picks up the garbage. As the warm months approach, try adding mothballs to your cans to keep them fresh and pest-free. For a smooth and timely pickup, place your trash curbside on Sunday evenings or early Monday mornings. Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to keeping our community tidy! Boat Storage: If you are storing your boat with us this season, be sure to visit the office to complete a new storage form and provide the required documents! Also, if you pull your boat out of storage, we need to know so we can update your account accordingly. Proper Removal of Leaves on Homesite: Please be sure you are removing all leaves from your homesite and properly bag them before you discard them in our burn pile. If you are unable to bring them to the storage burn pile, please notify management, and we'll arrange to pick them up once they are properly bagged. Water lines are flushed on Tuesdays: REMEMBER, on Tuesdays, the water lines are flushed at NOON. PLEASE DO NOT use water between noon and 2 p.m. AFTER 2 p.m., RUN COLD water from all faucets in your homes until the water runs clear.

Lot #105 Meet Rock, our adorable Pet of the Month for September! Rock is a 3-year-old Catahoula Leopard who loves to play catch and spend time with other dogs.
