Spring is here, and May is the perfect time to refresh our homes and community. As part of our ongoing effort to keep Glenwood a clean, safe, and enjoyable place to live, we would like to remind everyone to focus on spring cleaning and outdoor maintenance this month.
Spring Cleaning Reminder -Please take time to clean up and remove any unnecessary clutter around your home:
• Clear out unused items, debris, and storage clutter from outside areas
• Keep patios, porches, and carports neat and organized
• Dispose of large items properly, do not leave them in common areas
• Ensure walkways and driveways are clear and safe
Yard Maintenance - Keeping your yard well-maintained helps preserve the beauty of our community:
• Mow lawns regularly
• Trim bushes and hedges
• Remove weeds and dead plants
• Keep decorations tidy

Carve beautiful things out of wood in this open studio format. Both experienced and beginning woodcarvers are welcome. Students teach each other and share techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring their own tools and choose the type of project they wish to pursue. Bark, soft woods, toys, ornaments, or burned wood are just a few projects being worked on each week. This is not an instructor-led class, but a project-based class for students to work on each week.

Jennings Memorial Park - Free to Attend
Spread the love and find one-of-a-kind handmade and homegrown items for Mother’s Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, and other special occasions. Featuring more than 60 vendors showcasing handmade and homegrown items, including bath and body items; accessories and purses; homegrown plants; and home decor items. Activities and vendors will be outdoors and inside the Rotary Ranch and Red Barn buildings in the park. Food vendors will be on-site.Free Kid Activities Provided by Mathnasium of Marysville.

Bring your love of jigsaw puzzles to a friendly competition where teams of two work to complete a 500-piece puzzle. Teams have up to an hour and a half to finish, and the first team to place the final piece wins. Prizes are awarded for the first puzzle completed. Every team gets to take home the puzzle they worked on, a perfect souvenir for this fun and unique evening of entertainment. Registration deadline May 4 - $35 registration/team. Spectator seats in the mezzanine$5 at the door.
