Is there anything else you'd like to add? No

FROM YOUR COPPERSUN ACTIVITY DIRECTOR, Joanne Ayotte

Hi everyone! Oh how we welcome the beautiful month of March here in The Valley of the Sun. Our Coppersun March calendar is loaded with activities that certainly should peak your interest. Our biggest food and door prize activity/event is scheduled for Sunday, March 15th at 1pm. It is called the Lucky Leprechaun Lunch for the St. Patrick Day celebration in March. The event is a “free” complete meal that will be catered. It will be paid for by the corporation. We will have the traditional St. Patrick Day food of corned beef, cabbage and potatoes, as well as an additional choice of baked chicken, french fries and coleslaw if you prefer. Ice tea and fruit punch will be the catered beverages, but you are welcome to bring

whatever your beverage of choice. There will be a decorated St. Patrick’s day cake for dessert. I will be doing the popular 50/50 and there will be several door prizes at this event as well. PLEASE sign up EARLY in order to attend this catered event. (Note: this event is limited to Coppersun residents and staff only).

I am still collecting donations for our Coppersun 1st Quarter Charitable Event which benefits St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital. Don’t forget we still have the food pantry in the clubhouse should you need some food, or would like to donate to the pantry.

Wishing the Coppersun Community a wonderful March enjoying the various activities with your friends and neighbors.

Most Sincerely,

Community Activity Director

CRAB REPORT FOR JANUARY 2026,

I want to share with you the minutes from our January CRAB meeting (and for each month from here on). These meetings occur on the last Monday of each month at 10:00 am in the clubhouse. I highly encourage attending these meetings if you can, as Joanne must have her newsletter articles for the next month no later than the 6th of the previous month, and that means our January meeting is being published in March’s newsletter. By attending the meetings, you can keep up to date in real time. And now for a summary of our January meeting:

Fundraising was discussed as a primary focus. Given we have only been active since January 1, the board was pleased with the progress on our current activities: i.e., 50/50 drawings, selling Super Bowl squares, and the M&M count (won by Steve and Carl in Lot 339). Our hot dog sales are doing well, and as soon as we get the expenses paid for the grill and catch up on the dogs, buns, and condiments, all proceeds will go to our activities. Chris says we are getting close to paying it off! Although not all funds have been collected, with some activities still ongoing, the Board is encouraged. Thank you for your support! Additionally, we discussed future fundraising ideas: car washes, silent auctions, bake sales, and the continuation of our hot dog sales. We would LOVE hearing ideas you may have, not just with fundraisers, but for activities in general.

Because we want to stay in communication with all the residents about CRAB events, we discussed these options: A) Through the newsletter, although the information is somewhat dated, B) Putting a Special Events Board back at the mailboxes (you should see this soon along with flyer boxes attached so you can take the information from the board home), C) giving the information to Joanne to put on the Coppersun App and Facebook’s Coppersun Events and Activities page, and D) with an e-mail blast directly from the Board (a work currently in progress, so stay tuned!)

Each Board Member was tasked with bringing ideas for future activities. Each of these were discussed and noted for future discussion: Car Wash when warmer as a fund raiser, Volunteers to weed/clean yards and or haul items away items as a fund raiser, Senior Olympics, Hot dog sales at month-end sports tournaments as a fund raiser, a Bake sale as a fund raiser, a Scavenger Hunt, a Dunk Tank, a Casino night, pool tournaments on a quarterly basis, more of Barry’s “TV Game Show” games, and Getting donations from various

businesses in the area for fund raising. It should also be noted that Ron has offered his popcorn machine for events (i.e. A Fun Day in the Park or a movie night at the pool). Again, all ideas are welcome… and in fact, encouraged!

The following activities/events were discussed and placed on the March calendar:

March 17th: a March 17th: Leprechaun Coin Hunt from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm with a prize for each coin. Only one coin submission per household will be accepted. (Other details will be finalized at the February 23rd meeting.)

March 19th: Piggyback with Sherri’s sales event on March 19 with Anthony Price’s music out in the pool area and do a 50/50. This event goes from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and includes snacks and beverages. There is no charge.

March 27th: Sell hot dogs before the Bocce Tournament. Time to be determined

March 31st: Taste the Rainbow Potluck with residents bringing a dish corresponding with their birth month colors: Red for January and February, Orange for March and April, Yellow for May and June, Green for July and August, Blue for September and October, and Purple for November and December. The event starts at 5:30 pm. Watch for a flyer with all of March’s events.

Our next meeting will be on Monday, February 23, at 10:00. Please join us if you can; if you can’t and have an idea, text Vicki at 406-217-6037. She will make sure it is presented to the Board.

MESSAGE FROM YOUR COPPERSUN

HOME SALES ASSOCIATE, Sherrie Dudek

Happy March Coppersun!

If you are considering listing your home here in the community, please come see me in the office. If you currently list your home with me as your sales representative with Coppersun, your buyer will receive 3 months of free lot rent.

I am having another Open House event for March. It will be on Thursday, March 19th. The Open House tours are from 11am to 2pm, followed by a party with refreshments and food. We are bringing back Anthony for his vocals and fun. We hope, weather permitting, we can enjoy the party outside under the cabana.

If you have any questions regarding selling or purchasing a home in the community, please feel free to stop by my office at any time during my working hours. Have a great month, everyone!

Sincerely,

Sudoku MARCH

Rules: The rules for Sudoku are simple. A 9×9 square must be filled in with numbers from 1-9 with no repeated numbers in each line, horizontally or vertically.

I

here from Michigan this past fall my neighbor who has suffered with neuropathy for years walked across the street to welcome us back. The amazing thing was, she walked over without her walker. I had never seen her without her walker. I asked her what she had done, and she walked back to her house and came back with a card for the doctor she had seen after we left last year. I gave his office a call to make an appointment, it was on a Thursday, his office was closed, but the doctor answered the phone. He explained he would like me to attend one of his free workshops before coming in, it would answer all questions and if I still wanted to come in, I could make an appointment then. His workshop was informative, he explained things unlike any doctor I had seen up to that time, how neuropathy started, what is done for most people, why he does what he does. I was mostly impressed that he was straight forward, told the pros and cons. I’ll bet 85 to 90 percent of the other patients I talked to in his office were getting good results, like I did. My pain decreased by at least 50% in the first 3 weeks. I would highly recommend anyone with peripheral neuropathy, go to this workshop, I know you will be glad you did."
