Pieris canidia taking a brief rest on a mulberry leaf in the morning on my balcony in Taichung, Taiwan 清早，一隻台灣紋白蝶飛近我陽 台，我匆匆進屋拿了相機再回到 陽台，沒想到這時牠竟停到一片 桑葉上，短暫休息一下，就這樣 被入鏡了。 然後，牠飛走了。

是的，牠飛走了。 我等了好一陣子，太陽都出來了。 沒想到又讓我等到牠的光臨(應該不是同一隻)。 在陽台欄杆外，黃金葛的葉上，我看到牠的身影。

沒一下子，牠翩翩起舞。 然後在黃連木的嫩葉上停下來。 我趕緊又幫牠拍了照， 當然嘍，正面大頭照是不能漏掉的。

2. 基斑毒蛾，又稱柑毒蛾， 幼蟲頭部紅色，左右有兩叢長型毛束。

3. 背上有四叢白色毛斑，背中央有一 條白色縱斑，體背有像紅寶石般的瘤 刺，鮮艷美麗。

4. 正在啃食馬拉巴栗 (Pachira aquatica)的嫩葉。

No. 55 Monsters have been born (Chrysopa sp.). 蚜獅怪獸已誕生
1. Six eggs of Chrysopa on a leaf of flaming Katy (Kalanchoe blossfeldiana) on my balcony in Taichung, Taiwan 六顆草蛉的卵，分別以一根細 絲立在長壽花的葉面上，像是 一排氣球。

2. Little monsters just leaving their eggs 小蚜獅怪獸剛誕生，各自抱著 自己的氣球 (草蛉的幼蟲又稱蚜 獅，以蚜蟲、粉蝨、木蝨、介 殼蟲、蜘蛛等多種小昆蟲及卵 為食)。

5. Four empty eggs below another leaf (Pachira aquatica) 在另一片葉子(馬拉巴栗)的葉背下， 也懸了四個空卵。

No. 56 Jumping spider (Phintelloides versicolor) 眼鏡擬黑條蠅虎

1. 「眼鏡擬黑條蠅虎」(Phintelloides versicolor)舊稱「眼鏡黑條 蠅虎」(Phintella versicolor)。 「擬黑條蠅虎屬」(Phintelloides)是2019才提出來的；種名 "versicolor"意思是「顏色多樣的」。 雌蛛的頭胸背面呈乳白色，具有黑色的斑點，後方有兩枚圓形的黑 圈圈(有個體差異)，樣子像眼鏡框，為命名的由來。

Phintelloides versicolor (male) on a leaf of Yellow Bells (Tecoma) on my balcony in Taichung, Taiwan 眼鏡擬黑條蠅虎(公)在黃鐘花的綠葉上，正面看像不像老公 公?有大白鼻和兩撇白鬍子。 除了八隻腳以外，嘴巴旁邊有一對短短的白色觸肢，相當 於昆蟲的觸角。這種蜘蛛不結網捕食，而是直接跳到獵物 身上，聽說愛吃蒼蠅，俗稱蒼蠅老虎。

1. 早上一踏進陽台， 就在腳邊千年木上， 發現一隻無尾鳳蝶 Lemon Butterfly (Papilio demoleus)。

2. 才剛羽化離蛹晾翅中，翅膀皺皺的， 還可以看到蛹殼裡面濕濕的。

No. 59 It Means I Love You! (Cardiospermum halicacabum) 倒地鈴 就是我愛你 倒地鈴的屬名Cardiospermum即是由希臘文的 cardia（心臓）與 sperma（種子）所組合成。

1. 倒地鈴，一年生草本植物，莖蔓細緻，以特化的卷鬚， 纏繞攀爬於其他植物上。幾年前從住家附近的校園，撿籽 回家種的。屋簷下陽光不多的地方也可以恣意蔓生。花小 不起眼；但是蒴果倒卵形，有三稜角，膨脹如氣球，看過 一次就不會忘記。
