SERVICE AVAILABILITY FOR MERGER WEEKEND
Purchases, ATM withdrawals, and recurring debit card payments will process as usual.
Texans CU credit cards will continue to work without interruption. Recurring credit card payments will process as normal from May 1-3.
ATM withdrawals will remain available. Standard surcharge fees may apply at non-LCFCU ATMs.
TIMELINE OF IMPORTANT MERGER MILESTONES
April 13
Activate and begin using your new Texans credit card.
April 30, 5 pm
Online Banking is deactivated. Branches close until May 4th.
May 4
Merger is completed and you officially become a Texans CU member!
April 28, 5 pm
Bill Pay and Online Banking transfers become unavailable.
May 1-2
Branches are closed. The system integration begins.
Review and complete action items to ensure a smooth transition for the systems integration
Ensure your email, phone number, and mailing address are up to date.
Plan ahead for merger weekend branch closures and changes.
Download your e-Statements and tax documents from Online Banking by April 30th at 5 pm.
Save your member number and Online Banking username and password. You’ll need them to set up your Texans Digital Banking account on May 4th.

DOWNLOAD THE TEXANS CU MOBILE APP
A new Digital Banking experience begins May 4! To prepare, be sure to delete the LCFCU mobile app and download the new Texans CU mobile app.
Find the app by searching Texans CU in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
DIGITAL BANKING ENROLLMENT
STARTING MAY 4 TH
On May 4th, you will need to set up your new Texans Digital Banking account by following the steps below.

ACCESS DIGITAL BANKING
Log in to Digital Banking at www.texanscu.org using your Las Colinas FCU Online Banking username and password.

ACCEPT DISCLOSURE & CONFIRM IDENTITY
Accept the Terms and Conditions, then confirm your identity. You will need to enter your member number and Social Security Number (SSN) to validate your identity.

VERIFY & SET PASSWORD
A one-time verification code will be sent to your mobile phone. Enter the verification code. You will then be prompted to create a new password.
LOGIN AND ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNTS
Once your new password is created, you’re all set! You can now view your accounts and explore everything Texans Digital Banking has to offer.
ACCOUNT HISTORY, E-STATEMENTS, AND NOTICES
What you need to know about accessing your past LCFCU records during the merger.
Beginning May 4, 2026, your account history and information will be available in Texans Digital Banking. However, LCFCU Online Banking will remain available only through May 31, 2026 for members to download past records.
Before LCFCU Online Banking access ends on April 30, 2026, please download and save your e-Statements and tax documents for your records.
LCFCU e-Statements will not be available in Texans Digital Banking.
Starting May 4, 2026, new statements, notices, and tax documents will be delivered through Texans CU’s systems. Members enrolled in e-Statements will need to reenroll in Texans Digital Banking to continue receiving e-Statements.
To reenroll in e-Statements, log in to Texans Digital Banking. Choose e-Statements from the Accounts drop-down menu, then follow the prompts to complete enrollment.
MOBILE DEPOSIT
LCFCU members will have access to Mobile Deposit through the Texans CU mobile app beginning May 4.
TRANSFERS
Transfers scheduled for May 1st – 3rd will be processed by 12:00 p.m. on May 4th.
If you need a transfer to post before May 4th, schedule it by 5:00 p.m. on April 28th.
NEW - SEND MONEY WITH ZELLE ® BILL PAY
Zelle® is a convenient way to send and receive money with friends, family and others you trust. Starting May 4, 2026, you may enroll with Zelle® in 5 simple steps:
1. Log into the Texans CU Mobile App
2. Once in the app, select ‘More’ in the bottom-right
3. Under “Utilities” select “Send Money with Zelle
4. Verify your identity via text, email, or call
You’re ready to start sending and receiving money with Zelle®. Zelle® transactions show up in your account activity, so you can easily keep track of your money.
TRANSACTION AVAILABILITY
What you need to know about Bill Pay as we transition to Texans Credit Union
Leading up to the merger weekend, Bill Pay will continue to operate as usual. If you have a payment that must be completed before May 4, schedule it no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28 to allow sufficient processing time.
On May 4th, you will begin using Texans Credit Union’s Digital Banking experience, which includes Bill Pay. Your Bill Pay account, settings, and existing payments will be transferred to your new Texans CU Digital Banking account.
We encourage you to review your scheduled payments ahead of the merger and watch for future communications with additional Bill Pay updates. Our goal is to ensure you have the information you need to manage your payments smoothly before and after the transition.
Important Note: Payments made through Texans Credit Union Bill Pay are electronically debited from your account 1-2 business days after the Payment Send On date due to processing time.
DEBIT CARD CHANGES
As part of the merger, LCFCU members’ deposit accounts will transition to Texans Credit Union’s overdraft services and disclosures.
ACCOUNT & ROUTING NUMBERS
For most LCFCU members, there will be no change to your existing member number or account numbers as a result of the merger. If there are any special circumstances, you will recieve a separate communication ahead of time.
For most members, no updates are needed for:
• Direct deposit
• Personal checks
• Automated electronic payments (ACH)
• Recurring payments linked to your deposit account
PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS ON OR AFTER MAY 4, 2026
How your deposits and payments will post before and after the merger
You don’t need to take any action to keep your payments and deposits moving. Your direct deposits and ACH deposits will continue to post automatically after the merger, and no updates are required on your part.
Any deposits or withdrawals received before 1:00 pm CT on Thursday, April 30 will post to your account before the merger weekend begins. Deposits or withdrawals received after that cutoff, through Sunday, May 3, will post on Monday, May 4.
Throughout the merger weekend, you’ll continue to have access to your funds using your debit card, credit card, and ATMs.
EXISTING TRANSFERS
What to expect for scheduled and recurring transfers
Recurring transfers and ACH payments you’ve already set up, such as payments through a merchant or payroll deductions, will continue to process as usual.
Transfers scheduled between Friday, May 1 and Sunday, May 3 will be processed after the merger weekend is complete. If you need a transfer to post before May 4, be sure to schedule it on or before Thursday, April 30. If you currently make loan payments using Message Pay, you will need to update your payment method after the merger to continue making those payments.
As we merge into one credit union, the majority of current Las Colinas FCU accounts will transition into a comparable Texans CU account, effective May 1, 2026. You will be receiving a New Account packet in the mail with more details about your new Texans CU accounts. Please be sure to review this packet for important account information, including rates, fees, and disclosures.
SAVING ACCOUNTS
Refer to the Savings Account transition chart for the Las Colinas FCU savings accounts that will be transitioning to comparable Texans CU accounts. Holiday Club Savings and Star Savers Youth Savings accounts will remain the same.
CHECKING ACCOUNTS

CERTIFICATE ACCOUNTS (CDS)
There will be no immediate changes to Las Colinas FCU Certificate of Deposit accounts; however, all Las Colinas FCU Certificate accounts, with the exception of the Youth 12 Month CD, will renew into Texans CU Certificate accounts at the time of account maturity. After maturity, your account will transition to the Texans CU Certificate account shown in the chart.
TEXANS CU CD ACCOUNT (AFTER RENEWAL)
MONEY MARKET ACCOUNTS
All Las Colinas FCU Money Market accounts will be transitioned into Texans Money Market accounts. Great news –Texans CU Money Market accounts currently offer higher interest rates than Las Colinas Money Market accounts on all tiers, so you’ll earn more on your money as a Texan! You can view current Texans CU Money Market account rates at texanscu.org.
IRA ACCOUNTS
All Las Colinas FCU IRA accounts will be transitioned into Texans CU IRA accounts. There will be no changes to your account functionality or dividend rate; however, you will no longer be able to make ACH deposits to your IRA account.
Important Note:
Texans Credit Union will be mailing new account agreements to IRA accountholders. You must sign and return this packet by April 30, 2026. LCFCU CERTIFICATE ACCOUNT
ESTATE & TRUST ACCOUNTS
All Las Colinas FCU Estate and Trust accounts will be transitioned into Texans CU Estate and Trust accounts, respectively. There will be no changes to your account functionality.
