A
Windsor success story is attracting foodies across Canada. Grape Leaves Food, which has been producing its unique garlic sauce for less than a decade, is now selling the product in Canada’s largest grocery chains, from Costco to Real Canadian Superstore, Metro and Sobeys. A Lebanese family recipe, the product was first sold in the former Grape Leaves restaurant on Amy Croft Drive in 2015. Customer demand was so high, the Skieneh family decided to retail it fully in 2018. “We’d have customers come in and order a pound to take home,” said Jenna Skieneh, one of her family’s co-owners. “We’d spend a whole day just making the garlic sauce.” Continued on page 4
