I am a smart beautiful girl who loves to read a lot and eat. I also love my mom and I love school. I am strong, but soft at the same time. I am also super caring, and if you’re down I’ll have your back. I like to go on the swings at recess. I love to listen to music, especially Pastor Mike Jr. I also like to play with friends when we have free time and when I’m done with my work.

I love my big sister and my baby brother. They make me really happy when they are by my side. I like to help people when they are sad, and I like to make people laugh.

What I love most about myself is that I can make friends easily with a single touch, and then become friends for life.

My mom is the most important person in my life because she brought me into this world. She brings me sunshine, love, and everything.

I am a huge helper at home. I help my mom cook and I help her clean up too. I love my teachers, and I love learning at school. I like reading the Baby Sitters Club books. I like to sing and I like to dance. I enjoy STEM classes at school. I also would like to take over my grandma’s company one day too. I need all the money I can have to help the homeless. I love God, and I love my church.

When my Grandpa Papa Giyo and my Grandma Clemetine passed away, I was really sad. They were my favorite people. It makes me feel better, because I have to remember if they were alive right now they would be in serious pain. I found peace because my mom helps me through it and God, He helps me a lot. I also had classmates that helped me by lifting me up. If I could change the world, I would make sure that people don’t litter. I’d like to change the world by changing the hate towards African American people. If I had a million dollars, I would donate it to the homeless people and people who feel hopeless, or in bad positions where they don’t know if they can pay for what they need. I also helped start a business with my friends called Another Day Another Lemonade. We made lemonade and cookies and sold them to our entire Elementary School. We sold out all of our items, the 5th graders were even shoving and pushing so they could have some of our lemonade, and somebody got 5 refills! It was super fun! When I become an adult, I would like to be a Principal, because I am confident. Huami For Kids

I am twelve years old, and I attend Forest Heights STEM Academy. I also have a 4.0 GPA.

I enjoy playing basketball, football, and baseball. I also enjoy hanging out with friends, and playing video games.

I have served as an intern during the 2025 NBA Summer League internship.

I have completed the 2026 Harvard Academy for Business internship.

I have completed thousands of volunteer hours with the Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission.

If I could change the world, I would address hunger, because it’s sad seeing children and people on the street starving. 14

ennedy k I am 14 years old and 9th grader. with a 4.0 GPA I enjoy spending time with my family and I desire to one day be a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. I enjoy playing tennis, reading, boxing, basketball, volleyball, softball, and in the band. I also enjoy drama, theater, and dancing. I participate in track and field and I also speak fluent Spanish. I have completed thousands of hours of volunteer service with the Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission. I was an intern at the 2025 NBA Summer League. I was a delegate to the 2026 Congress of Future Medical Leaders.

I am inspired by both of my parents, Dr. DuShun and Angela Scarbrough. They love me and encourage me to be the best that I can be. I thank my parents for the gifts and opportunities they gave me.

If I could change the world, I would address world hunger, and homelessness. I would also help cure people who are getting sick, researching a cure for cancer and illnesses. I would also create more opportunities for African-Americans.

In the future, I want to obtain scholarships from band, art, and sports. I also want to attend Harvard University, attend medical school, and prepare to be a surgeon. I wish to tell people to keep going, keep your dreams and hopes up no matter what! 22
