July 1 officially kicks off the second half of 2026, which means, it’s time to revisit your business plan to determine where your business came from so far this year. Tom Ferry, national real estate industry coach, just stated that 4% of your database will transact in the next 12 months (that’s DOWN from 10% only a few short years ago). That means, you’ll need more names in your database to generate the same amount of business...and those names need to be nurtured (texted, emailed, called) every month. Every person in that database should receive a CMA before the end of the year. That said, a balanced business should see about 50% generated from the database...so, where is the only half coming from? Open Houses? Digital advertising? Geographic farming? Door knocking? Ferry suggests that you choose 4-5 additional business building activities. Layer your activities, as your business is built brick by brick. Each activity should be continuously evaluated for ROI One activity he highly recommends? Home tours Film 10-12 minute home tours and post them on YouTube This one, no cost activity, will generate leads guaranteed!
