We’re reaching out to ask you to serve as an Ambassador for one of our High Holy Day services, in a role that feels comfortable to you. We also invite you to Ambassador with your spouse/partner and/or teen. You may choose from one of these roles:

Join us for a special High Holy Day experience just for children in grades K-6! Kids will have a great time with holiday-themed games, crafts, snacks, and meaningful community service projects— all in the spirit of the holidays! Yom Kippur Monday, September 21 from 9:30 am-1:00 pm (doors will open at 9:15 am) PLEASE NOTE: To ensure a safe and enjoyable program for all, advance registration by September 5 is required. RSVP is required to ensure adequate staffing, and for that reason we’re unable to accept walk-ins.

NEW high holy day experiences for teens (7th-12th grades)
We’re switching it up to offer teens a variety of High Holy Day experiences! Yom Kippur Morning Monday, September 21 10:00 am-11:00 am: Traditional Teen Service in the Simcha Room Join us for a teenage spin on a more traditional Yom Kippur service. 11:00 am-12:00 pm: Community Service Project Rotation Upstairs Engage in an assortment of community service projects that help those in need and earn service hours while you do! 12:00 pm-1:00 pm - OPTION 1 (8th-12th graders): Teshuvah Game Minute-to-Win-It Challenges in the Simcha Room Volunteer to assist at this special event for 4th-6th graders. 12:00 pm-1:00 pm - OPTION 2: Experiential Teen Service in the Teen Lounge Be a part of our experiential teen service in the lounge with hands-on opportunities to engage in the themes of the holiday. PLEASE NOTE: To ensure a safe and enjoyable program for all, advance registration by September 5 is required. We’re unable to accept walk-ins or accommodate new friend requests on the day of the program
high holy day teen volunteering (interns only)
Current and former participants in Temple Sinai’s Experiential Workplace Learning Program (formerly known as Internship) are the ONLY teens eligible to volunteer with our High Holy Day Kids’ Programs this year. These are the only volunteers who will be eligible.
