Upcoming Events Simply Shabbat Friday Evenings 6:15 pm, Belle Chapel
Shabbat Morning @Emanuel Saturday Mornings 10:00 am, Bess P. Maltz Center
Shabbat Morning @Emanuel is rooted in traditional prayers, while maintaining a contemporary feel. Most of the liturgy is sung in Hebrew, accompanied by English poetry and commentary. Every word is transliterated, so everyone can participate. Congregants chant Torah and Haftarah, and often celebrate community life-cycle events. Torah study is interactive and heart opening.
Experience the essence of Shabbat joy with our Simply Shabbat service at 6:15 pm in the Belle Chapel. Led by Temple Emanuel's dynamic clergy, this intimate service lifts the spirit with a fusion of nostalgic and contemporary melodies. This warm and comforting service is led in both English and Hebrew, and includes a d'var Torah. We look forward to seeing you each Friday this summer.

Temple Emanuel welcomes you back from the summer with a weekend of activities for members and non-members alike. Meet with our clergy team and senior staff, find out about our educational and social programs for the year, and connect or re-connect with other members of the congregation. Friday evening will be dinner and Shabbat Unplugged at the synagogue, and Sunday evening will be a program to introduce our community engagement activities, and our annual cantor’s concert (stay tuned for Sunday's time and location). Early Childhood Center Starting at two years and two months
Our Temple Emanuel Early Childhood Center provides children with a nurturing Jewish environment designed to stimulate curiosity, learning, and imagination. We offer a broad range of activities carefully designed for preschoolers and work closely with parents to maximize the unique potential of each child. NAEYC Accredited Our Early Childhood Center program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Only 8 percent of early childhood center programs nationally are NAEYC accredited. 2016-2017 Registration Our registration for this upcoming school year 2016-2017 is coming to a close . Religious School
Pre-Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade Temple Emanuel Religious School is focused on building a confident Jewish community around its students. We believe that participating in Judaism is preferable to simply learning about Judaism. The Pillar program is a significant source of the temple’s support and it enables us to provide important programs and services for our members. Our Pillar members have all the benefits of full membership and also receive a Pillar Pass with priority entrance and seating for High Holy Days, and complimentary parking.
