InMarch2022,theJaneGoodallInstitute startedacollaborationwithASU primatologistIanGilbytohostover60 yearsofGomberesearchdataatthe InstituteofHumanOrigins
Now,ateamofASUfaculty,student researchersandAIengineersareexploring waystotransformthehandwrittenfieldnotes fromTanzaniaintosearchable,analyzable digitaldatafiles.Thiseffortwillcomplement andcontributetothenewGombeAIResearch Platform,underdevelopmentbytheJane GoodallInstitute
