feedforward An anticipatory response to expected changes in the environment of a system; Reverse of a feedback, it is the 'self-fulďŹ lling prophesy' process that turns logical cause-effect relationships upside down.

Feedforward cycle According to Marshall Goldsmith
Providing feedforward involves giving people suggestions for the future and making plans to help people achieve their aims. You need to listen to the other person and address past performance to assess what needs to be changed, providing meaningful suggestions on what can done so that future aims can be better achieved. Having an open dialogue to negotiate the strategies given without being judgemental or critical is crucial to this technique. The main idea is to help people better prepare for the future , which is something that can be managed, instead of focusing on what was done in the past. Feedforward doesn’t need to be top-down, it can be done both by leaders and peers. @teacher.casals
