COST-OF-LIVING BUDGETING WITH MULTIPLY Take part in the National Numeracy Challenge!
WHAT WILL I LEARN? You will gain support in becoming more confident using basic everyday maths skills and learn how to budget and manage your money within your means and monthly income, including – Money Saving Tips: chain meals and shopping around for utilities etc. Learners will be assisted to create their own individualised personal budgeting plan including, payroll deductions and converting between yearly, monthly and weekly amounts. OPEN DOORS MULTIPLY FOR PRISON LEAVERS Take part in the National Numeracy Challenge!
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
TCHC have designed a course specifically to support prison leavers or those on temporary licences (who do not have Level 2 maths or equivalent), to learn non-regulated maths skills, to support community reintegration and job entry opportunities. We will deliver face to face and blended learning sector-based courses to cover numeracy skills required by local employers. On this course you will learn cost-of-living budgeting, how to be confident with numbers, life skills and work skills such as CV writing, interview techniques/approaches. You will need to be available for an appointment to do your initial assessments and course sign up.
