Please remind your students to regularly check the online portals for the schools that they’ve applied to Although they’ll likely receive emails directly from admissions departments, we want to make sure that they haven’t missed anything!
College Decisions Pt. 2
As university decisions are arriving, please give your child space to grieve any rejections and avoid pointing to specific "reasons" like grades or test scores. Admissions decisions are complex and often based on institutional priorities rather than any student's individual effort. I (Mr. Smith) personally believe that the power of God’s sovereignty would be diminished if we knew exactly why He opens some doors yet closes others. The truth that they (and maybe we) need to be reminded of is that they will end up exactly where they are meant to be, during their college years and beyond.
