Pankracy Foundation The Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility is an international network of corporate CEOs working in Poland to affect positive social change through targeted corporate philanthropy. Since 2003 the foundation has been helping to empower and educate children in the poorest rural areas of Poland’s Western Pomerania province. The Foundation, operating in rural areas of North-West Poland, currently supports over 1,300 children from elementary schools. Since 2017, they also provide support for over 120 disabled children in Slawoborze’s school. The Pankracy foundation is based primarily in Gdansk and Sopot in northern Poland, however also have offices in Warsaw, Kutno and Plock. The foundation was formed in 2017, and its main beneficiaries are children who live in orphanages. They invest in a child as an individual unit, supporting talents, caring for health and broaden the horizons of children and youth by financing out-of-school activities, tutoring, scholarships for learning results or helping in conducting therapy and entering adulthood.
Warsaw Volunteer Mission
Community Partner Highlights
The Warsaw Volunteer Mission was founded in 1995, and is located in the south of Warsaw, in a town called Piaseczno, and aimto assist those in need by providing material help, as well as spiritual guidance and emotional support. The main beneficiaries of the mission are: families who struggle with traumatic circumstances, individuals who have been incarcerated in prison and need help readjusting back into society and youths' who are searching for meaning and purpose. Currently major emphasis is directed toward helping members of their Social Aid Program. Their “Life Impact” program is designed to encourage and support the spiritual, moral, and ethical development of inmates in correctional facilities. Since 2003 they have been holding regular meetings in both the Grochow women’s penitentiary and the Rakowiecka men’s prison. Additionally, WVM volunteers now regularly provide delicious home-made soup, and supply clothing and other basic necessities to needy people in Piaseczno
‘Touch Your Soul’ (AITYS) in India “An initiative touch your soul”, mainly works with children and their families in remote villages in the northern state of Uttarakhand, India, providing schooling and conducting medical camps.
Odommo Bangladesh Foundation Mojar-School started its activity on 10 January 2013 through a Facebook post, and today the schools helps streetchildren at Shahbag. The goal of the Odommo-Bangladesh-Foundation is to build a street-child free Bangladesh. One of their initiatives is the Mojar-School, which provides food, education, and access to health services and technology.

TBS Community Allotment September - October 2021 This term, students spent more than 200 hours volunteering in the community garden outdoor learning led by Kev Halpin and carried out projects linked to subjects and IPC topics. The community garden was visited by Early Years 1, Primary Years 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and Secondary Years 7, 8, 9 & 10.
Student projects included: •
Garden maintenance, planting, caring and harvesting crops.

Research into healthy eating, environment and how plants grow.
•
Planting seeds in the classroom to see how they germinate
•
Transplant then into the community garden either greenhouse or direct into the raised beds.
Activity Highlight
Organic vegetable sale August - December 2021 Students have enjoyed rolling up their sleeves to collect eggs from the free range hens and harvest vegetables, herbs and vegetables in the School Community Garden. With bumper harvests, keen volunteers enthusiastically arranged table-top sales outside the school gates for the local community. The children continue to prove what great ambassadors they are for the school and very knowledgeable, ready to advise all about the produce on sale. All the money raised goes towards buying new seeds and plants, helping to make the community garden selfsustaining so that the students can continue to enjoy the wonders of nature.

Pre-loved Items November 2021 The schools collected 1,600 pre-loved items, such as clothes, games and household goods to help The Warsaw Volunteer Mission support disadvantaged families in Warsaw

Christmas Giving Tree December 2021 The goods that were donated were Christmas presents chosen by the children from around Poland who might only get 1 or 2 presents each year. It is a great foundation to help as it also helps our children understand the importance of giving especially at a time when some families struggle to provide gifts for their own children. During the Covid 19 restrictions we have raised almost $33,400 to buy items for the orphanages to support the children's wellbeing.
