Town of Huntington Supervisor Ed Smyth (R), at podium, along with town officials and members of the Huntington’s Opioid & Addiction Task Force kicked off the town’s second annual ‘Huntington Goes Purple’ for National Recovery Month on Tuesday, Aug. 30, on Huntington Town Hall’s front lawn. September is National Recovery Month, and purple flags are being installed at the following locations for the duration of September: Huntington Town Hall; Main Street (from Clinton Avenue/Green Street to Anderson Place); and Larkfield Road (from Webster Place to 9th Avenue).
