Photo courtesy MCPL On two beautiful evenings, a combined audience of over 1,100 happy music lovers enjoyed performances by Petty Rumours and 20 Highview during Middle Country Public Library’s summer concert series, MCPL Under the Stars.

Suffolk County Legislator Nick Caracappa (C-Selden) sponsored a grant through the Suffolk County Department of Economic Development and Planning to support this summer concert series. He was also

on hand to welcome attendees and introduce students Finn Taich from Centereach High School and Heather Austin from Newfield High School, who kicked off each musical evening by singing the StarSpangled Banner.
