fernando jorge Fernando Jorge’s evolution from dynamic emerging talent to globally recognised brand has unfolded in little more than a decade. Since founding his eponymous label in 2011, Jorge has swiftly gained international recognition, earning industry acclaim and receiving prestigious awards. Born in Brazil and based in London, Jorge’s unique design aesthetic stems from his multicultural perspective. His jewellery blends the attitudes of his two homes—the sensuality and vibrant warmth of Brazil with the refinement and rebellious spirit of British style—creating a visual language that is at once elegant and contemporary. Combining a deeply personal perspective with his love for the rich tradition and techniques of jewellery making, Jorge seeks to push the boundaries of the form, resulting in pieces that are bold, fluid, tactile and innately covetable. His creations are known for their sense of line and movement, instinctive use of colour and striking contrasts of natural and refined materials. Jorge’s collections have become contemporary classics. His work can be found in stores in cities around the world. Spanning the arenas of jewellery, art and fashion, his pieces captivate collectors and enthusiasts alike. With over 20 years in the jewellery industry, Fernando Jorge’s career began in Sao Paulo following on from his Design BA. In 2008 he moved to London to study at Central Saint Martins, completing his Masters in Jewellery Design in 2010.
